I loved seeing concert footage from when 2pm was in the United States years ago Taecyeon's and Nichkhun were so entertaining and at easy with the audience since they are both proficient in English. They were laughing and having a good time with the fans.

He studied in the Philippines when he was younger. It would be super hard if u directly go to College to study English when u dont have the foundation for it. Usually Koreans study here in d Philippines for their English Foundation from nursery to highschool. I had Korean students whom I taught during elementary & highschool & also tutored and conversed with them in English too. That way when they go back to Korea, everything is much easier for them to speak in English, specially their grammars.

Rain learning English and speaking it so well in just 100 days is incredible. As someone who is trying to learn other languages, I simply can’t imagine being able to do that.

Rain’s pronunciation is amazing especially given he didn’t live abroad! Most Koreans have a hard time with curling their words but he’s impressive! So is Ok Taecyeon but he lived in the US. & he has no accent! I’m Korean American in California & he sounds more like an LA guy lol. And Moon Ga Yeon’s English has a German twinge 😄

Ok Taec Yon accent is what they use when you live in Massachusetts. He will experience discrimination if he won't speak that way. Since most of the listed celebrities migrated when they were young, it is given that they know how to speak English.

how Ok Taecyon can speak english mind blowing??? lol he basically grew up in America it's natural he can speak it. Same with Krystal. The amazing here is Rain and Lee Seungi, but especially Rain coz both of them learn the language. They didn't grew up speaking it.

The most fluent actor in english that I've seen has to be Yo Teo. His accent is just incredible. Plus Jang ki yong Both are so good in english they acted as people from western countries

I'm American so, it's funny to me that you think Taecyeon has an accent cause I don't hear it! He doesn't even have a Boston accent which he could have lost since being in Korea! America has so many accents but I don't hear an accent from him!

@@alexandrachee2531 agreed. California accent is the most boring accent of all. No rolling r's, no deep throated g's, only a mild sing song lilt. When I moved to California I had a bad southern accent and the other kids were merciless,. Yeah I know that accent. It's the one you hear most in Cinema. Plus, he gave up any connection to the states and stayed true to his homeland. He's a K-cinema all rounder.

Its great to speak English because it’s became a world language. But I prefer to see the other way around, speaking a different language fluent like Korean or Japanese. Especially for those where speaking English is difficult.

Let's be honest, I've listened to Lee Seung Gi on several variety shows and his English isn't good enough to be on this list, I think Cha Eun Woo speaks it better, and don't get me wrong, I love Lee Seung Gi he's a very complete celebrity. On the other hand Taecyeon is the king of English 🐱💚

Listening to Moon Ga Young speak such lovely German is so nice! Her English is pretty, too (she sounds like a German speaking English. :) ) As for others, Han Hyo Joo speaks Korean, Japanese, and English. She was in the US TV series Treadstone a few years ago. Kim Eui Sung actually speaks extremely good English as well.

@@meika_lee It is a huge feat, but it's not that unusual as many people can speak their native language along with English. It's actually extremely common. I'd be more impressed if they could speak multiple languages. And I'm not bothered, but more so amused by how obsessed some people have become over Korean actors and actresses.
