The Japanese Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep DVDs and Blu-rays were actually released by Studio Ghibli. Yes, that Studio Ghibli is the Japanese distributor of Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep.

the lost media community has gotten so much bigger i remember years ago when i first got into it there was only a few channels maybe two big ones but now there’s so many it’s great but it seems like it’s been stagnant for a bit lately with not much being found but maybe it’s just not big topics and small stuff is found more often

Yep! I remember when the community was so much more smaller and it was hard to find any KZfaqr covering lost media content, Blameitonjorge is one of the only ones I can think of off the bat. I think now lost media is so popular that more smaller things are being discovered because with so much generated interest it is hard to have one singular piece of lost media blow up like it used to (like how Clockman or A Day With SpongeBob became very popular and big) because people have different interest and don’t want to focus on just one big thing but rather finding many smaller things. The only recent “big” piece of lost media that kind of went viral within the community is that Japanese commercial with the two blinking people, it’s starts with an H i forgot what it is called though and that isn’t even found yet. That’s just my take, but it’s nice to remember how the lost media community used to be and I can’t wait for more content to be found!

eSMART was found and the ROM was dumped in February. If you don’t know, it was a McDonald’s DS training game only released in Japan. If you’ve seen Nick Robinson’s video (if you haven’t, I recommend you do), then you’ll know that eCDP is very similar to this description. The main difference is that eCDP was meant to train new employees, while eSMART was meant to train returning employees who hadn’t been working there in a while. For the longest time, all we knew was that these games existed (and even that was contested, because some people though it was being confused with a Hilton PSP game), and now, in the space of about a year and a half, both of them have been archived. If you ask me, that’s one of the best things that could happen.

OMG OMG OMG, as a french canadian, I LOVED "Une grenade avec ça", I didn't even know this one was lost, if this is lost, then a good chunk of shows from vrakTV are probably lost. I'm thinking "Il était une fois dans le trouble", "Vrak La vie" etc...

The vraktv episodes were lost on purpose, after one of the actors got arrested for child pornography they pulled every episode he was in and they haven't been seen since.

Why would you want to save an ad break? I get preserving individual commercials with certain notoriety, because of who made it or whatever, but why would you save a series of commercials with their only collective notoriety being that they aired at an inconvenient time during a live event?

The reason the 2005 🇸🇲 GP ad break was so infamous was it being shown during the last 3 laps (~5 minutes) of the race while a particularly intense battle (still remembered today) was taking place, so I can see how some people would want it for prosperity 😏

how much did they pay you for tht raid plug ? It's a great pay out but they have super predatory marketing tactics and the game is repetitive and uninspired. In fact a lot of the heroes are stolen from artists with no recognition. I love ya man but the whole raid conspiracy goes deep.

Feels like it’ll be strategically released, my guess is whenever they’re doing making new Sonic media. It’d make money through streaming, even if people are watching it to criticize/make fun of it. Leaking it would be a wasted opportunity to recoup the cost of making it.

Lost media can be so interesting, because it’s like only 1 - 2 persons watched a forgotten show or movie in the 80’s - late 2000’s and nobody remembers it. So it becomes a quest to find the forgotten show or movie. But at the end of the day someone could have remembered the plot wrong.

I caught some of one of the discovered Twinkle cartoons and I honestly have to admit, no wonder the thing was lost. Other than the song is an earworm that will NEVER leave your consciousness, it's just a painfully generic and forgettable show. The characters have very flat personalities and Twinkle barely does anything but show up and grant wishes. he doesn't even look like he comes from the same show.
