I think we sometimes don’t realize how much we actually buy until you sit and gather everything and look at how much just sits there sometimes. Slgs are so easy to try and justify because they’re a cheaper piece one can get, but once you realize how much it adds up to, you realize that could’ve gone to purchase something you can use a lot more and get your moneys worth. Thanks for this video.

I have definitely overdone it with lipsticks, lipglosses, chapsticks, and slgs. I have made a vow with myself to not spend another dime on those items. ☺️ Great video!

Love this list and categories. You should make this a tag. I agree with you on all. The clothes and shoes specially. Your body changes and shoes you tear them down. Perfume, make up and slgs I never got into designer options. Which im glad. I only have 1 cardholder from Kate spade, lasted me over 5yrs and still going strong.

totally agree! i never buy any slg yet bcos i know i jus do not like to change over purse/wallet at the time! so never dive in there and altho i love the designs on the jewellery, i also feel they are not worth it too! thanks for the videos!

I have bought a few Dior and Chanel RTW pieces and I have sold all but one. I hardly wore them and I would rather spend my dollar-roos on other things I actually use regularly. But I only came to that view after I had bought them and they just sat in my wardrobe. I just didn't have the lifestyle that allowed me to wear stuff like that to make it worth the price point. I also save for my luxury pieces and I make it into a challenge to make it fun. It also helps stop (most) impulse purchases!

Truly an eye opener because I kept thinking how much I have collected over the years especially SLGs and 💄 💄💄💄💄. And lipstick designer or not do have expiry dates so what a wastage on my part 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I feel the same way. I got too many designer lipsticks, too many slgs, too many bags. All of this probably last me till I die. No need to ever buy another lipstick, bag, wallet, coin case, pochette, designer sneakers, perfume, brooch, etc. I probably can take some of these things to the care home.😆

I work in a care home, and a woman who lives on the second floor walks down the stairs to the dining room every day with her Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags just to eat and go back to her room. Lol! I love it.

Are Chanel perfumes really that much more expensive in australia? Here in the United States a Chanel bottle of perfume is definitely around $100.

I think it depends on the size and whether it’s EDT or EDP but I’m pretty sure for a smaller sized bottle it’s starts at around $150 and can go up to about $380

My SLG collection is ridiculous. Definitely probably equal to a LV bag on the higher end or even a chanel mini rectangular. I'm definitely looking to reduce my collection but I actually want to diversify my collection. I have to many Coach SLGs at the moment.

I never spend big bucks on clothing, i actually learn how to thrift so i can try different style, and when they are too used i throw them and i didn't spend a fortune on them, i rather spend money on hand bags, good quality jewellery and accessories like nice sunglasses. Accessories makes the whole outfit!!!!

How convenient is it to purchase from organise my bag when you live in Australia? It’s more expensive as you’re paying in USD. Have you considered purchasing from Australian companies? I know at least 2 off the top of my head that are Aussie small businesses.

The shipping is pretty fast as it’s shipped via DHL express and I tend to buy a lot in one order to qualify for free shipping as the shipping alone is quite expensive. They were the first bag accessory company I came across that makes really good quality accessories so I’ve stuck by them and can personally recommend them. Its only been more recently that I’ve come across some amazing Aussie brands and would love to support them too 🥰

I made that comment because I did try ordering from organise my bag but found it was too expensive to do so…Perhaps because I was buying just one thing. I had to go local and order from luxegarde based here in Australia. I found them more affordable from an Aussie dollar 💵 standpoint if you know what I mean + free shipping but I totally understand where you’re coming from. Have a lovely day
