Wow... that 3 headed dragon is a call back to the many forms of Megatron/Gigatron/Galvatron across the cartoons. I believe the US name for the anime dub in question was Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001). And yes, I know we have 2 cartoons with that name or close enough which is why I said anime. Anyway, dragon form with more then 1 head was in that anime and then we had the later part of Beast Wars where Megatron went from T-rex to dragon form. The Japanese only release of Beast wars 2 had a Galvatron with a dragon mode as well.

@tailed_valor I have not watched the movie, but I am a fan of Beast Wars. Unfortunately, the plot lines in the live action films have fallen flat for me, so I haven't seen any of them since the second one. As for Megatron, to return to the dragon form would have been lore accurate and fun for the BW fans. Pity they passed that up.

@@user-kf8ow7ib5b Japan name that has been used a few times over there. One of them got dubbed as Megatron here if I recall correctly. RID anime was such a rename case with our purple and black dragon himself. Edit: Checked for accuracy, I recalled correctly.

real disappointing that we didn't get a final fight between Optimus and Megatron since Quintessa just wouldn't work for a fight, the only fight in the whole movie was prime vs bee and that was a mess and spoiled in the trailers. this movie could have at least got the fights right but not even that

The people who claim that 'Bumblebee' and 'TF: ROTB' aren't prequels to 'Transformers'[2007] lack imagination, and somehow fail to either realize or remember that 'Bumblebee' was made with the intention of it being a prequel to 'Transformers'[2007]! They even used Bobby Bolivia's speech about cars & their owners in the 1st trailer for 'Bumblebee'! Surely by the end of the sequel to 'TF: ROTB', the Autobots(except for Bumblebee, of course) are somehow gonna leave Earth. Either the creative team has simply de-canonized 'TF 5: TLK' or there's going to be a time travel explanation for why Unicron wasn't the Earth's core in 'TF: ROTB'. As for all of that stuff in 'TF 5: TLK' about Autobots and Decepticons from the prior 4 films having been on Earth before 1987, it could easily be established that Edmund Burton made it all up & fabricated those related objects seen in that room in his mansion out of boredom, but due to his old age, he ended up believing that it was all true and Cogman didn't correct Edmund, because he found it amusing. Also, it's worth mentioning that in 'TF 5: TLK', when Edmund said that he knew Bumblebee when he was a kid, Bumblebee had no idea what he was talking about, and when Cade Yeager tried to encourage 'Bee by mentioning 'Bee's supposed days as "ZB-7" during World War 2, 'Bee seemed to have no idea what he was talking about.
