Excellent tutorial, thank you for sharing this method! Do you think this method could be modified to have the RampTOP interpolate between colors using their Hue value (for example)? That seems to create more visually pleasing gradients, but pretty much all color ramps in all softwares seem to interpolate linearly along the RGB values between colors. Maybe that would involve writing a new shader TOP instead of using the built-in RampTOP though. Thoughts?
