Don't forget, if used, ask if it's got a rebuilt or salvage title. Ask what kind of work the truck has had so far. Look at the condition of the batteries.

Great advice. I’m getting back into trucking after 2yrs out of the game. I plan on purchasing a truck next year after a year of getting my feet wet again OTR. I’m out of Chicagoland so there will be plenty of good freight to run once I buy my truck.I’m glad I stumbled across this channel. Love the info you and Brian put out.

Your the type of people and company we're always searching for...there's to many bottom feeder's running a lot of these companies related to our trucking businesses...and we've all had enough of them!!! I bought a truck and the people who sold it to me said that they would make sure that the truck would pass the DOT inspection, before I picked up the truck they did a DOT inspection and passed the car. I saw a the truck myself and was astonished that it passed the DOT, in disbelief I took the truck to Freightliner for a DOT inspection they found many flaws and failed the car form the inspection. What do you think I should do? I tried to call the FMCSA to report what had happen but none of their number are picking up. Wanted to hear your advice. Love the video btw.

Love the last 2 videos. Question I have, About to purchase my 2nd truck, this will also be my first brand new truck. What would you consider a good interest rate for a brand new truck with 20% down and excellent credit, 48 - 60 month loan? Your last video I watched only focused on used truck interest rates for first time buyers
