This style is super cute and simple! I was teaching myself how to barrel twist the other day, I didn’t do too bad but next time I will two strand twist it first. Thanks for the helpful video 😌

I love this! I definitely got the technique down! But I cannot seem to do these loosely or not so tight 🤦🏽‍♀️ All that work and I had to take it right back out bcuz my head was banging! 💆🏽‍♀️

Would you recommend those with starter locs to keep a style like this in longer than 2 weeks? I started my locs 5 months ago with two strand twists and have been maintaining them using the interlock method. However, I recently decided to switch over to palm rolling. My loctician put my hair in barrel twists to hold the retwist but I’m wondering how long should I keep my hair in this style before I can take them down?

@@DESZREN 😂. also, how often did you retwist your hair around the 3/4/5 month stage? I’ve been doing every 2 weeks and I feel like that’s a bit much. Appreciate your time.
