I'm not gonna lie, I've been in love with this woman since I first saw her. Still, I wanted to make this video to celebrate her birthday and to do so, I included moments that intensified my love (if that was possible). Although there were many other moments I wish I could've included (like her talk about depression on The TTS and other iconic laughs), they were either without a cut version or just somewhere beyond my reach.
I connect to her on many levels including emotionally and she, along with SNSD, has made such a lasting and positive impact in my life, so I would love to hear what effect she has had on others.

For me it's an accumulation of moments. I can't pick just one. New fans may not know but Taeyeon used to be one of the mood makers, and her image really was a kid leader not just for her looks, but because she was very carefree and goofy. What made me really admire her tho was when there was a visible change in her, instead of hiding her struggles she shared them. Shes always kinda been down to earth, that was one of the things that made her popular back in the day, but idk she just seemed to relatable. She's zero BS, what you see is what you get with her, and thats what I really like about her. SNSD were my first female role models, and even tho she wasnt my bias, I seriously admired Taeyeon the most and still do

You have put down the thoughts most of us old fans think. So true. I also love the fact that Amber said when asked about her collab with Taeyeon for shake that brass, she said that "Taeyeon unnie can do anything" , like SM can't dictate anything to TY anymore. Taeyeon has earned that place. If only netizens wouldn't be so critical of her every move out, on the other hand it shows what impact she has and will continue to do so in SK.

One of the moments that made me love Taeng even more was when she adressed the hard life of idols, depression and loneliness, and made me feel closer to her. I hold her very closely to my heart since almost nine years ago, and all I want from life is happiness for her. I want her to be treated well, to be healthy and successful and to feel loved, which is just how she makes me feel when she sings, or smiles. Like she was talking to me.

this year she spent her birthday taking care of rescued dogs with a group of fans who didn't know she was coming. Best birthday ever. Love Taeyeon.

Thanks for sharing “Pray”. I love her voice but her unselfish nature sealed the deal for me. She always put SNSD as a priority before her solo career, sometimes taking on the worse kind of criticism to deflect the same towards her Soshi family.

For me: 1. Every single time she sing especially ballad! The way she close her eyes and hit the high note, like she wants to fly away, she wants to release everything, she wants to take away all the pains, loneliness and all. Most singers be like “nah now you know what I can do. My voice can reach like this etc etc” but Taeyeon be like “Can you feel me, do you feel the same, please take this pain away etc etc” She just not to show off her voice but instead try to let others feel the same like her. 2. Everything seems natural. Her new looks. She looks good in every style. She doesn’t look like tried hard to shine among others but she shine every time. 3. People are boosting about her voice but she always “what’s with my voice”. She is so down to earth and caring to her fans.

The moment makes me loved her.. when i see she in a struggle to came up with every massed up through the 2015 year, and im definitely cry coz she was very responsible kid leader... And never ask to be most screening and stay humble back then, she is definition of perfectionist.... I want to give her big hug to warm and make she laugh at all cost.... That's why Baekhyun likes her, she's so natural but the sad and fact part is that HATES/BASH changed her, unlike before we heard her ajumma laugh but now very rare, I'm happy to see her happy in their 10th and in their promotions, Fighting Unnie!

I kind of hate her back then... because my original bias in SNSD is Jessica, everyone keep saying that it's her fault and I was like "Yeah, it's her fault she has a very bad personality" then my hate doubled when her dating scandal with Baekhyun came out. I regret it, seriously, I hate my old immature self for hating her. She's an angel, she deserves love and support. she's always be my queen! Good then you change. Taeyeon is kind even though she looks cold. But she is actually doesnt show her emotion or caring personality in front of camera. When many ppl blame her for jessica's leaving, I still believe that taeyeon did nothing wrong. It's not her fault :') for me, she is like the best kpop idol I stan so far.
