The Ebon Hawk is EXCELLENT for taking out high relic Bossk's Hound Tooth. It dispels the taunt and prot up buff when it reinforces, it has a Buff Immunity attack, which cripples Hound's Tooth, and it has a separate ability to dispell all buffs thats separate from it's reinforcement bonus. So the buff dispels and buff immunities are highly useful, the chaff is useful, AND... its basic attack grants turn meter to two allies every time you use it. It's a really good plug and play ship.

When I look back at my journey through swgoh, there aren't a lot of zetas I regret. I applied Cody's before Shaak and Arc came out and tried desperately to make something of the original five clone troopers under a Cody lead. Today, I have 244 zetas applied, so I'm not necessarily missing 20 zeta mats out of 4,880 zeta mats I've used, but Cody is definitely one of the few, or only, characters that I've seen little to no return from.

Right now I agree with you about Dooku not being needed however, if Gungans end up being a core meta team, he might be good to keep an eye on as his riposte makes it so his attacks out of turn ignore protection and Gungans have basically no health. Put him on a team with say Poggle, Trench and/or Nute who can all call him to assist and you may be able to melt them down quickly. Tbf, Malicos and JKC also have riposte and are better characters overall however they're generally wanted for more heavy hitting teams like GLs so Dooku could let you not worry about having to save one of them for Gungans. But that just proves your point for the moment. If the best case scenario is being the third choice to take down one single team that may or may not need to be worried about being countered when they are live in 3-4 months and may even get protection against Dooku since they're suppose to be anti-sepratists, then you probably don't need to level them up right now

Dooku is great early on, once I got my first sith team going, I put tons of protection and tenacity on dooku and he just lasts forever.

Enfys Nest is great to have early game when people use ewoks and old republic (it might time out for old republic) on defence.

As a light speed bundler I use it in my fleet opener to get Immunity buff on the opposing Razor tooth, if it lands it allows me to usually get a quick kill on a more dangerous target. But I also use Ahsoka from the back for the double dispel chance

I have found a use for the vet smugglers. I throw them on a dash team with mission and zaalbar and have yet to find a geo team that gives me any trouble. But agree with all these characters. None of these are "necessities" based off their abilities alone.

What do you mean HK-47 is not good. You are not wrong about his damage but the thing is even tho MALGUS replaces HK. It’s just how longs it takes to get MALGUS. Also you need HK-47 relic 5 or 7 I believe for the levitation. So I don’t really understand why we should not relic HK for the levitation. Who else would replace HK-47 for Darth Revan team before MALGUS. Also the ZETAS are not the best for HK but they help MEATBAG. I don’t see How HK-47 is A CHARACTER THAT YOU DONT NEED IN SWOGH. and he is from KOTOR. TARKEN makes sense even tho you say you need him for the zetas. CARTH is just there look good and can help with some things.

Just to clarify the Ebon Hawk comment you made about Chaff. Executor loads it's ultimate on Breach, not Target Lock. The big thing with the Chaff against the Executor comes from the Piett ability Vader's Bounty not allowing any Bounty Hunter allies to deal Target Lock. The Chaff function is sort helpful for the Executor mass swarm though because if the opponent is Target Locked, Empire allies are called to assist. Now I don't use any Empire ships on my Executor team in GAC, but back before Profundity, I threw Vader and Tie Bomber into my Fleet arena fleet because I had two spots and it couldn't hurt. Ebon Hawk is good as a buff dipel reinforcement, but you don't need Carth at relic levels to make it effective.

I think part of the problem with Count Dooku is I never see him modded correctly, I don’t mod him as an attacker, I only mod for potency and protection (and speed of course) my count dooku is constantly stunning the entire enemy team, the few people that aren’t stunned are ability blocked. Whenever I use him with SEE during assault battles he is always the last one standing, and always half the reason we made it that far

Executrix is needed for DS TB in ROTE. He’s the only way to do the mustafar fleet battle.

I have Luminara Omicron! She was my first 7 star character and I got her Omi when it came out hoping it would bring her back to relevancy and..... ...nope. I also love HK-47 and have him at R8 (R7 for Levi and R8 for ROTE deploy) Love the video and I agree with it btw. Ebon Hawk is also needed for Levi.

The only thing that holds dooku back is his abysmal damage. He falls off so hard quite early in the game, even tho his kit is awesome, merely because he dies too quickly due to his lackluster HP/shield pool and low damage output. Yes he counters and Yes he has ability block/stun, but with the sheer amount of chars that spread debuffs he's a sitting duck

The smugglers aren’t great but I use them on my zorii team with a lot of success in GAC where my Res Bros are with Rey.

I have a question. I have been an off and on player. Bought the light speed a couple years ago. Took a break for a year and a half and started playing again last month when the light speed bundles came out. I bought all of them. I am struggling to know where to allocate resources. Do I need to farm teams like geos or are those considered a waste of time with all of the characters and teams I have now? I don’t plan on buying anything else so I don’t want to waste everything on teams that aren’t worth it with all of the stuff that has been unlocked. Insight would be much appreciated!

I will say, investing into only hk bastilla revan gets you through the revan + malak events without wasting gear on old republic characters you’ll never use again. I’ve used my DR team for so long and am still months away from malgus, and HK’s AOEs and big Jedi damage have actually been super helpful in a lot of JML battles so definitely not a complete waste. I can also use him with aphra whenever I get her and he’s not the worst option in the world there, and he’s needed at r7 for leviathan anyways. Definitely not the best character but I do think I’ve won a few DR vs JML battles that I would’ve lost otherwise due to him. He can also be helpful on defense since he shuts down the imperial trooper tm train if they use range’s assist before taking him out

If you have YL at r5 because of the bundle and don't have reliced Hondo or Vandor Chewie, he is good with Dash. At least not useless, his damage helped me a lot. HK's only home is 50R-T, and there is a vacant place, because R2 just got a better home with GL Leia. And the guy IS needed for Leviathan, again. Many people sleep on Count Dooku lead, in 3v3 he has a really nice team with Jango and Droideka (or maybe some other separatists, that's just the one I use). It's a cheap team that, for some reason, people are throwing CLS teams, Sith trios etc. Cody gave me a win in 3v3 again, he was the only toon left (with Shaak lead and clone sergant) and they took down Mon Mothma team with Cara and Kyle (after 10 or so pityful attempts, but they still were at full health with decent amount of protection). Also I sometimes use him with JMK, his call to assist is nice and his high relic allows to put on datacrons. It's a bit strange for me to put so much characters, that are required for a lot of farms, and after that put Nest on the same list because she isn't needed for any farms. Farmboy Luke that you mentioned could easily take her place, because he can't solo some g12 teams, he can't solo ewoks, he literally has no team in the game.

Well, I gotta disagree on 2 toons: count Dooku and carth Onasi. Count Dooku: really useful in some galactic challenges to get the 30 stun feat and like you mentioned he's got his uses in DS Geo TB. Carth Onasi: if your guild is currently running the Krayt dragon raid, you can stack up a nice score under his leadership ( not many guilds do that raid anymore but some still do!)

Pretty good list. I do disagree on Dooku. Once you get Trench Dooku slots in well. End game, he can be a good tool on a team that can counter some late game teams. Also Enfys Nest. She's still good. She can make a scoundrel team risk timing out a speed team like Imp troopers. I would never suggest bypassing her. All the other characters are good for the list. They can be bypassed by better characters.

I need some advice on this game. I bought the hyperdrive bundle a week ago. I have trouble beating some level 80 characters. This has stopped me from actually playing the game and instead I just multi-sim all my energies as I try to max the characters I want/need. I'm a little overwhelmed by the game at the moment and don't really know what direction to go. I am 3 requirements away from being able to start my SLKR journey. Should I commit to this?

I think the worst part abt Dooku is his third ability Makashi. I don't know how many people out there haven't omega'd it but I kinda omega'd it and it severely ruins his gameplay. imo, the "best" way to play Dooku is usually having him take the full front of the attack bcuz of his zeta allowing him some lvl of sustain; omegaing his third ability gives him the "makashi" buff but it also makes him stealthed which is like....what? shouldn't dooku be unstealthed?. There are "better" toons out there for attack, but the best way to play Dooku imo is to run him w/ a fair amount of potency, speed mods, and then try to get some good sustain like def because his attack overall is kinda low in comparison to other attackers and he's rly just there to run up galactic republic characters and jedi w/ the shocks, stuns, and ability blocks. His debuff kit is kinda overloaded tbh; shame his tag is "attacker" though. I think in mid levels, he is useful, but like definitely if u have conquest characters, GLs, other legendaries, then he falls flat but that's kinda just the state of the game where everything is a powercreep
