This is a new anime game but, that we have decided to try. I try to beat the anime game, while my friend AfroSenju XL AND my friend iamReno AND my friend SeeReax AND my friend Naruto AND my friend Dragon Ball Z tries to play an anime game I never got to play. It's a gamer I never knew existed, and it's super intense and I had a lot of laughs. .
VS Everyone, But is easy, But Isn't that bad, or any other but challenge like that. This is a new anime game / against the worst anime game, But Is Perfect!

Fun fact: Great Saiyaman is the only playable character in Budokai 1 that comes from the Buu Saga.

Dimps didn't have time to include the Buu arc. A lot of time was spent making the graphics look like the anime.

Fun fact in the original tenkaichi if you use super trunks finish buster he always says it in Japanese (on the pS2 at least)

If I remember correctly when Buu absorbs Tien & Yamcha he actually gets a little weaker. Maybe the only transformation that does. I practiced a lot in training.

Fun fact for Budokai 2. Some of the angles for the ultimate moves were adjusted in the Gamecube release. Example: The beam in Teen Gohan’s Father Son Kamehameha in the PS2 is smaller and more see-through than in the Gamecube version, which is a bigger burst

0:27 Spopovich is also on the front of the PAL boxart of the game 2:50 That's the cutscene from the story mode episode "Cell's Game Begins" and that's actually the Dragonball Volume 3 manga cover that's in front of Yamcha and Krillin. It's in the story mode episode "Let's Go To Namek!" in the first cutscene when Bulma is talking to Master Roshi over the phone, where there's a book on the table that has a blurred image of the Dragonball Volume 1 manga cover 3:37 Actually this started in Budokai 2 where if Vegeta is in his alternate outfit, which is the Saiyan armor he wore in the Android saga, and Babidi's Mind Control is used then Vegeta's armor becomes battle damaged

Fun Fact: GT Final About had a form of power scaling. Starting with Ss4 Goku being the strongest and it trickles down from there. (Playable wise)

I always liked how in Budokai 1 there were special costumes exclusive to story mode like Nappa without armor, Goku with the Roshi Gi before King Kai and various battle damaged gear.

I think Mr. Satan ultimates did get fail animations in Budokai 3 though, where the enemy throws back the gameboy and it explodes on him.

Finally some love for budokai 2. That's my favorite budokai too. Sure the story mode sucks but I prefer the refined b1 gameplay.

i recently played shin budokai 2. i Cant remeber how, but future gohan is in the present and gets the same "treatment" like gohan. Thats why he gets the Sword an Transformation, but i cant remember why he is capable of going ssj2.

It’s not a secret or hidden detail, but in PAL regions Budokai 1 only has the Japanese voice cast with no way to swap it to the English cast. The HD remaster of Budokai 1 that came out in 2012 was also only in Japanese. The opening to the game was changed from the recreation of the original Z opening Cha La Head Cha La to a montage of story mode cutscenes with a generic track from the OST playing over it. Budokai 1 also has a costume for Goku that he wore on Ken of the manga covers and a costume for Vegeta that was his end of Z outfit. In Budokai 3 during Broly’s Dragon Universe Mode you can get a special cutscene where Broly will blow up Goku’s house and the map will reflect this afterwards.

In Tenkaichi two you can defeat super android 13 in the story mode with Vegeta and trunks and they have their own dialogue for beating him

The last Secret is not a Sceret, it is in the Story SS2 is unlocked by Gohan in the Afterlife doing Image Training against Android 18 the entire Time, not even realizing that he is Dead until affter fighting SS2 Present Gohan and SS2 Future Goku Ultimate is unlocked by Future Elder Kai, since only Gohan can pull the Z-Sword out and only from the Time he is from, as Future Gohan was the only one who could pull out the Z-Sword in the Future, while Present Gohan couldn't Apparently if I recall correctly, Future Elder Kai repaired the Z-Sword, gifting it to Future Gohan, so that's why he can use it

No Budokai 3 was the first to have bluff Kamehameha, then it came back in infinite world, xneoverse 1, 2 and fighter z.

an detail from Raging Blast 2 is the Gogeta model being from the DB Super Broly movie. Gogeta from Z has different colors and the most notable its the orange in his jacket, but the Super version has a yellow color instead of orange as well with no halo in the head. idk if was on purpose or not but this Gogeta from Raging blast 2 is IDENTICAL to the Gogeta from the Dragon Ball super Broly movie. And yes, the movie only released YEARS later and that game already had the model for the Gogeta from super.
