Disrespect has become a huge part of football, especially with social media now very prevalent. A lot of top footballers get disrespected for different reasons and we can tell you that most of the time, these criticisms are unfair. We want to look at those players today.
These are the 10 most disrespected players in football.
We’ll start with Trent Alexander-Arnold. We all know that Trent can whip in a cross better than most players in the world right now, but this guy almost always gets disrespected for being unable to defend.
Also, what do you think about the level of disrespect Erling Haaland gets? We’ve heard fans say he can’t be called the best player in the world because all he does is stay in the box and wait for chances to come to him.
Another midfielder who gets disrespected is Jude Bellingham.

Ok Ronaldo is playing in a camel league but grealish gets disrespected just because he got drunk and made a few mistakes doesn’t make him the worst player on city and he delivered last season and was a role player for the club his ability to keep the ball for the team is far better than scoring goals because I believe the assist is more important than the goal. Because if the pass was not made the goal would not be scored. Grealish is an amazing player but we don’t see it.

Van dijk is also disrespected a lot, any video including/mentioning van Dijk, either Ramos, Pepe or Maldini’s name pops out anywhere in the comment section, no one can literally appreciate what vvd does without mentioning another defender’s name. They need to start respecting him and accept that he is a legend of football and not someone you should disrespect just like other players.

I think Salah is also so disrespected and underrated.He has skills and pace of a god and never fails to finish.Carried Liverpool last season and this season he is Liverpools top scorer.Even at 31 hes carrying the same level he did on his prime,and he gets disrespected for it bc last season Liverpool were not the best team and that carried the fan base away thinking Salah was bad but in reality hes a top class player and is one of the best wingers to ever grace the premier league.This came by a Liverpool btw.

Look, I have been a Ronaldo fan ever since I got to know Football when I was 6. That doesn't mean I disrespect Messi. He is one of the best to ever step onto the pitch, same as Ronaldo. But to be completely honest, I do think that it is unfair to see him get the Balon D'or and Men's best player of the Year award, when Haaland got the Treble, broke a lot of records in the Premier League, the best league in the world. I also think that the World Cup was weird. I do not say that it's a fraud or anything, but A LOT of discisions were really quesionable and I do think that if everything went correct, Argentina would not have lifted the World Cup trophy. Let alone Messi winning player of the tournament, when Kylian Mbappe deserved it way more in my opinion, but also if you look at the stats and facts. That still does not mean I disrespect Messi in anyway, he truly is one of the best ever to play the game and I have really enjoyed seeing him play.

I think Sheik Mansour was the most disrespected. I mean he clearly asked for his first class ticket to come with a cylindrical back pillow and noise cancelling headset on the plane and instead they gave him a square pillow and regular headphones. I hear he even had to listen to the massage therapist quietly whisper to other flight staff while they rubbed him down. How do you expect someone to live like that? What a true hero he is, putting up with such deprivation to bring us great football.
