And here was me thinking Glauber Berti had the shortest PL career on the pitch, getting about 8 minutes in City’s last game of the 08/09 season. Sixty seconds is a shocker! Plus, I was sure Dunney scored more than 10 own goals, he seemed to do it so often for us. We still loved him, mind, mainly because he was the very definition of “typical City” back then.

That Derby County record is the most Newastle thing imaginable. You forgot to mention they also drew with them,meaning 4 of those 11 points came from Newcastle.

@@gregaustin5840 the last time spurs won a first division title my 60 years old mother wasn't born yet. Since then England (yes, England) went on to win the world cup. Maradona went on to punch the ball to the back of the net. Baggio cried in the world cup final. We seen the most boring world cup final in 1990 (a match that most players struggled at stay awake during the game), France won their first significant encounter since Napoleon (against Brazil), later got dumped out by Senegal 4 years later, Singapore won FOUR (yes, somehow, I don't know how) Southeast Asia Football Titles, Iraq winning Asia cup and Wes Morgan winning more Premiership trophy than Steven Gerrard.

Like honestly the reason Dunne managed to score so many own goals was because he is like at least in the top 10 of premier league defenders for appearences, with his 430 appearences which means like an own goal every other season, plus he was literally manchester cities greatest player for over a decade Every player is flawed, but he was an amazing player for a long time plus hes irish love Ireland

Yeah I agree, he was decent. A bit clumsy when he got into bad positions but most of the time he was astute enough to read the game not to get caught out.

That's the first person I've ever seen with his face where his right bicep is supposed to be. It wouldn't have happened under var rules. When someone touches your right arm and you go down holding your face and he gets sent off, you deserve a Hollywood star, an Emmy, a Tony and an Oscar.

In a match where both teams were both trying to win Arbroath beat Bon Accord 36 - 0 this was in the Scottish Cup in 1885 this was an embarrassment for Bon Accord but the 149 - 0 business was an embarrassment to football .

i would be interested in what the per minute stats of a lot of these would be (clearly wouldn't make sense for all), but, red cards per minute, own goals per minute ect. (i have honestly forgotten if there were more that work already lol) also, how about worst pass completion, and most errors leading to goals.. Probably all super annoying stats to figure out (:

I'm sure Nick Culkin holds the record for the shortest PL career. He was a goalkeeper for Man United and came on deep into injury time. As soon as he took the very kick to resume the game, the ref blew for full time.
