Not to nitpick, but the american crocodile and the american alligator, are 2 completely seperate species. It kinda seemed like you knew that, because you presented them both on the list, but you also said that "american alligator, is another name for american crocodiles... and while showing the american crocodile, you kept calling it an alligator and while showing the alligator, you referred to it as a crocodile. So, I'm not sure what was going on. Lol! Cool video regardless. Just thought I'd help straighten things out. Sik

1st their is a difference between the American Alligator and the American Crocodile. 2nd Even though the American Crocodile is bigger, the male American Alligators have a more violent disposition and are more territorial especially during mating season. American Crocs can tolerate salt water, Alligators cannot, American Alligators can tolerate cold by performing a type of hibernation, Crocodiles cannot.

An entertaining video but like so many others mentioned earlier, you have completely mixed up the American croc & the American alligator! You really should know better by now & I was really disappointed by this error. The American croc is definitely the bigger (& more dangerous) of the two & reaches a maximum length of around 20 ft, whilst the American alligator is smaller & reaches maximum length of around 15 feet. I commend you, however, for stating correctly that the Orinoco croc reaches a maximum length of 22 ft. Of course, at that length, it would be very close in size to the largest saltwater crocs. In fact, I believe that the Orinoco croc is the second largest species of extant crocodiles. On a negative note, YOU UNDERPLAYED THE MAX LENGTH OF THE SALTWATER CROCODILE - I’ve read several well documented accounts of salties reaching 22 to 23 ft in length. You have also UNDERESTIMATED THE MAXIMUM SIZE OF THE FALSE GHARIAL as the size of their massive skulls (some rivalling giant saltwater crocs in size) point to a total length of AT LEAST 18 ft.

American Alligators are Blackish Grey vs Crocodiles are light greenish. Alligators have a U shaped Mouth and Crocodiles have a V shaped Mouth. A Large Alligator being found in Florida is 9 feet long. I've only heard of a 14 feet Alligator but I never seen one or heard of anyone who has, could be possible since everyone say they can get to 14 feet. I thought 9 feet was Large but to know some Crocodiles can get to 20 Feet is Amazing to know! Nice video and yes Technically Alligators and Crocodiles are somewhat related it's just Habitat and Behavior and size are different. The only Crocodiles I've seen in America are in a Zoo. Like in my KZfaq Channel

Largest Saltwater Crocodile ever caught (and ever measured properly) was caught in the Philippines (if I remember correctly called it Ling Ling or something like that) was just over 27ft long and he was put in the zoo as during the monsoon season where everyone gets around on boat (and during the dry season the houses are on like 10-15ft stilts you find out when the water is gone. But during the monsoon people sit on their porches and fish with their feet in the water as the water comes up that much! Anyway this male Saltwater Crocodile was eating people who were fish on their porches by just grabbing their leg/s as they were in the water. But they caught him (whole village and an Aussie croc hunter) measurements were taken like length, weight etc and was biggest one ever caught (pictures can be found on Google and their is a picture of the croc tied on a basic trailer and you think can’t be real but it is as it,was taken during this National Geographic program they were filming about them catching this “man eating Salty”

Crocodiles has a very bite force of its own around 3700 psi, but it's mouth is not big enough to actually bite the Hippo's huge body, not to mention crocodile's teeth is not long enough to penetrate Hippo's very thick hide. Saltwater crocs had killed many people in Borneo, Malaysia.A few months ago in January, a 7 year old boy had been killed and eaten by a 20ft saltie while playing at the river bank with his sisters. His remains nor the croc was yet to be found by the authorities. Before that, an elderly man too had been killed by the croc too while casting his netline at the river.Furthermore the village was near estuarine and river mouth where salties roam around. This took place back in Kuching, Sarawak territory, Malaysia.Actually, there are many cases of croc attacks back here in Borneo but I couldn't tell much because we need to respect the victim's family privacy and emotions. In addition to my story, saltwater crocodile were among the overpopulated crocodiles in the world. In Malaysia alone I guess they may be hundred thousands of them lurking in our coastal areas, estuarine and river mouths. In Sarawak, hunting for crocodile is now at the beginning stage to control the population. But still some people won't take up due to their culture and beliefs especially the Iban race. The Ibans who still practice their old beliefs believe that crocodiles were their reincarnated ancestors. One folklore story is famous, the 'Bujang Senang', the story about an Iban warrior who had been cursed into a crocodile. And apart of the story, the Ibans really respect crocodiles as they regard it their deceased ancestor's reincarnation. The state government now however had release the permit and license to hunt down as many crocodiles as a part of population control programme.Crocodile flesh and skin were among the expensive items brought from the hunt and hunters can make money from it.Of course for those who dared to take the risk here.

@joe_tipakuah4880 We have large number of salt-water crocodiles in Bangladesh. But the tiger attack is more common in Sunderbans river. Sunderbans river is infested with many salt-water crocodile. We also have commercial salt-water crocodile farm where they're raised for meat, skin and teeth. Although, we never eat crocodile since It's haram in Islam.

@@zisanmahmud4335 Of course its forbidden in Islam to eat amphibious reptiles such as crocodiles and i know that because i live among the Malay who embraced Islam in Malaysia. And we have similarities in our biodiversity such as saltwater croc and tigers.Tiger attacks were common too in West Malaysia as the habitat of the Malayan tiger were threatened by logging and oil plantation estate. The tigers had nowhere to look for food and humans were the targeted food source because of lack of mammals such as the Sambar Deer,Wild Boars and any others due to deforestation and poaching.

You completely mixed up the stats between the American Alligator and American Crocodile even though you made a species account for both species. The range maps shown were the only thing correct for both species. The Alligator is endemic to the United States. The American Crocodile is the one that ranges farther south and into salt water. In fact, the American Crocodile is the only other species that frequents salt water as often as Salt Water Crocs.

the strongest compared to size? or strongest over all? because if its strongest over all then its simply the largest crocs. and otherwise it should be compared to weight. and what you mean with strongest. you mean strongest bite? or strongest body over all. including tail strength and swimming and running speed.
