@jason coville I suggest you go back and see how Johnny Polo acted, a spoiled rich kid that wouldn't shut up who used to hide behind the wrestlers he managed like the Quebeccers or Adam Bomb. To how Raven in ECW acted, a stoic sociopathic cult leader who'd bully and abuse his loyal followers at the drop of a hat, it's like night and day.

Drew McIntyre deserves prop for reinventing himself on the indies. He was a totally different person. From a generic narcissist “chosen one” to the sword wielding, kilt wearing Scottish badass. Also some props to Jinder Mahal from jobber to beast.

Bradshaw's repacking was certainly welcomed as after the 2004 draft, Smackdown! was severely low on high-tier wrestlers other than Eddie Guerrero & Undertaker.

Aside from Undertaker and Eddie, Smackdown had Booker T, Kurt Angle, Cena, and Big Show. But JBL was a good heel for them to try to topple.

He was from crazy insane to goofy with a stutter because he was electrocuted. Of all the recycled comedic roles, Goldust pulled it off the best. Santino Marella was pretty great too

Fun fact: that Brodus Clay segment was originally scrapped due to time constraints, when the time came and Cena's segment was about to start, he said that "he needed to go to the bathroom" before asking Brodus if him "spending 8 minutes in the bathroom" was okay, to which Brodus replied "6 minutes"

Taker pulled off ABA flawlessly. He was probably the biggest superstar ever. No matter what he did, he gave it 110% & never failed. Same as Cena, love him or not.... he is and will be a huge strar always

How did the Rock not make the list? He went from "die Rocky, die" to the most beloved heels and faces in company history. Third generation wrestler Rocky Maivia to the Nation/Corporate Rock is number 1 IMHO. I would only put Hulk Hollywood Hogan before him, but I get that was WCW. Even the Ringmaster to Stone Cold deserves an honorable mention.

Bayley’s transformation shocked me the most. I must say, I really loved Bayley under her hugger persona. And what many call her transformation “Bayley the Role Model”, was actually something I called “Bayley the Badass Bitch”. Like, ditching her ponytail, inflatable Bayley buddies, and that somewhat catchy piano entrance theme, I was not expecting Bayley to come out with a hair cut, a different theme song, new theme song, or even No Bayley buddies. 😂

I'd been saying for years up until they finally pulled the trigger that Bayley needed a heel turn to refresh her character. She was tanking the same way The Rock did in his Rocky Maivia run. Only real difference being the crowd wasn't telling Bayley to die. And just like The Rock, it ended up being just what she needed.

How about the New Day? All went from under appreciated mid carders to the best comedy Tag Team/Stable of the modern period. And all three got great solo accomplishments with Kofi and Big E becoming WWE champ and Woods becoming KotR

All three were overlooked under card guys Kofi was a Jamaican who no longer had a Jamaican accent and just did cool stunts in the RR or MitB Big E was just another big dude enforcer And Woods was Brodus Clay’s sidekick New Day helped all of them reach new heights. And that’s despite the fact they began as a black church choir. Woods literally bet his career to McMahon himself that if they went heel he could get the New Day over and it worked. There’s a reason they dominated the tag division for so long. I really can’t imagine Kofi or Big E ever winning the WWE title without the New Day

Rhea said WWE specifically told her to either cut her hair or be terminated from the company. Even though it’s suited her career quite nicely, I prefer her with the longer hair.

Rhea beginnings to JD is absolutely *Wild* Transformation. I will defend this till the day I die. Bailey's Heel turn destroyed her. Yeah she might had become stale as Face, but she was a kids Icon. you can't just throw that away to appease the older crowd.

Facts, it worked for two reasons 1. His Hulkamania gimmick was running it's course 2. By the mid 90s, the family-friendly cartoony style of wrestling was incredibly dated.
