From what I've found online, the Purge "4" is a prequel like was said here, and it is supposed to show/tell how the annual Purge came to be.

I can see why they are doing an enchanted two. An enchanted sequel is the only way to get more animated Giselle on the screen(she is a beloved animated princess by quite a few people) since disney doesn't want to pay life long royalties to Amy and James baxter productions to have Giselle on the official roster of princesses.
