Tarantino has some 4-5 hours worth of Django scenes that were never filmed. Hell there’s almost 2 hours worth of backstory for Broomhilda that was cut from the final script.

One you missed: in the original Jurassic Park film, when Nedry is killed, we get a very cinematic shot of the can of frozen embryos. It seems like something is going to happen with them, but it's never mentioned again. [In the book, the can is recovered, but we all know the movie is only "loosely adapted" from the source material.]

TIH was a good movie. It just had the misfortune of coming off the heels of Iron Man and early in the stages of the MCU. Recasting Banner for Avengers didn't help much either.

The real reason we never saw Samuel Stearns become The Leader is that Marvel makes less money off Hulk standalone movies due to the licencing deal they have with Universal; so they reserve Hulk for use in ensemble movies to get around it.

Note the Onion sketch on YT where they have a "feature interview with the 5 year old screenwriter of The Fast & Furious series". Superhero/Horror/Sci Fi films are movies for middle school brains.

I dont think the Halloween-Arguments hold up. The movie makes pretty clear that Myers is a natural force that just cant be explained scientifically. The journalists fail to understand him and so does the Doctor and they all get killed for leaning to far into a morbid and somewhat amoral fascination. That motive gets wrapped up pretty good by killing them. Having the Doctor stalk through the Haddonfield for the movie would have just overused the idea of the twisted Dr. Loomis and probably would not have added more then what we already got.

Okay to be fair, every plot point in the room kinda goes no where

A big reason why The Leader plot line wasn't followed has nothing to do with the reception of Incredible Hulk, but more so to rights issues (like most conflicts for the MCU). Universal still owns the rights to the distribution of The Hulk, and while that means the character can appear in ensemble movies, solo outings are a lot less likely because of Disney not having a hand in it. They could always bring him back in another way, but seeing as he is such a Hulk-centric villain, it's unlikely.

The Room and Rise of Skywalker are very similar movies in a sense that no plot lines or points make any sense at all.

The Hulk offering a Leader origin was a huge screw-up anyway, because the entire point of the character is that Sam Sterns is a dullard who could never remotely aspire to a doctorate in even the silliest of disciplines. This made him a counterpoint to the brilliant Bruce Banner becoming an inarticulate rage monster, while Sterns becomes the coldly plotting super-intellect Leader. (Though that name never worked for me, especially since in most appearances he worked alone or with robotic or semi-sentient servants. Sometimes he'd have a hireling like Jackdaw but this was more a financial relationship than one of inspiring loyalty.)

I'm still holding out hope The Leader will be revealed to have helped manipulate events that led to Thanos getting the stones in Infinity War.

A few things, including The Room like it’s an actual movie and not just something ppl watch to laugh it, is a cheap and pathetic addition. Dr Stearns transformation into Leader was never followed up on because of the ridiculous rights issues that surround The Hulk. He cannot be used in a solo without Paramounts inclusion, altho I think that deal has ended. For some reason they came to an agreement to allow Hulk in the MCU in a cameo only role, with no solo movies allowed. It being their lowest grossing movie had nothing to do with it, given the love fans have shown for Ruffalos version, a solo film would do very well, and the studio knows that.

Surely this video proves once again why any attempt at critical analysis of super hero and horror films, to which your channel devotes so many videos, is a total waste of time.

Also, WW giving up on mankind 100yrs ago and yet being fully immersed in hero work in 84 just comes down to the demise of the DCEU. There was no reason to continue that plot point.

What Finn wanted to tell Rey is followed up on throughout the movie with visual storytelling. All you have to do is pay attention, but I understand that's a big ask for a lot of Star Wars fans.

The WW one isn't a plot point going nowhere, it is a retcon. That is something different. A plot point going nowhere is where that plot point is irrelevant going forward. A retcon is a contradiction of the original plot point.

I'd argue that the war profiteering sub plot in Star Wars The Last Jedi is a more interesting subplot than Finn's secret. But Jar Jar Abrams basically threw out all the interesting parts of TLJ.

Shit not even a “junior novelization” could save WW84. The movie fucking sucked, plain and simple. The CGI for Cheetah alone makes the CGI cats in Cats look Oscar worthy. Hands down the worst film of either Gal Gadot or Pedro Pascal’s careers so far. What’s worse, Suicide Squad is a better film.
