1. Vivekananda Mandapam and Thiruvalluvar Statue
Vivekananda Rock Memorial is another place in Kanniyakumari which attracts large number of tourists. As its name implies, it is essentially a sacred monument, built by the Vivekananda Rock Memorial Committee to commemorate the visit of Swamy Vivekananda to “Shripada Parai” during 24th, 25th and 26th December 1892 for deep meditation and enlightenment.
2. Kanyakumari Lighthouse, Kanyakumari
Kanyakumari Lighthouse is located on the shores of Kanyakumari Town in Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu. The Kanyakumari lighthouse stand majestically tall amidst a string of monuments: Tamil savant Thiruvalluvar, Swamy Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and Kamaraj. A globular lantern with wick lamp hoisted in 1904 was the first light here. It remained in service for many years but it is not known when exactly it was discontinued. The present lighthouse tower was constructed during 1969-71.
3. Aqua World Fish Exhibition Kanyakumari
Aqua World Fish Exhibition Kanyakumari is one of the few well-maintained aquariums that carries exhibition purposes at Tamil Nadu. This aquarium showcases several species of freshwater and seawater animals. The Freshwater species like Green Terror, Flower horn, Guppies, Goldfish and Angels can be seen here. One can find the Green Crab, known as Mud Crab that is highly delicious. It is usually exported from India to Japan, USA, France, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.
4. Kanyakumari View Tower
The ideal spot to view Kanyakumari’s most famous monuments is this tower where one can see them clearly from the top. The 360-degree view that one gets from here is simply breathtaking. Perfect for photographers, this tower is just the place for anyone to click memorable pictures and selfies. It is unmistakably one among the best of Kanyakumari tourist places.
5. Kanyakumari Sunset & Triveni Sangamam
Triveni Sangam Kanyakumari - Confluence of Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea & Indian Ocean Meeting Point and sacred bathing place in the Southernmost tip of India. It's the only place in India where you can see both the sunrise and sunset at the same spot.
6. Rasthakaadu Beach
Rasthakaadu Beach is located at Anjugramam Village in Kanyakumari District of Tamilnadu. This Beach is unknown to most of the tourists visiting Kanyakumari District. The Beach is located at about 3 Kms form Anjugramam, 2.5 Kms from Anjugramam Bus Stand, 4 Kms from Vattakottai Fort, 8 Kms from Kanyakumari, 22 Kms from Nagercoil and 108 Kms from Thiruvananthapuram. Nearest Railway Station is located at Kanyakumari and Nearest Airport is located at Thiruvananthapuram.
7.Vattakottai (Circular Fort)
VATTAKOTTAI is a granite fort six kilometres north-east of Kanniyakumari cape, forms the terminal of a line of ramparts known as the South Tranvancore lines built by Marthanda Varma to serve as defence for Nanjil Nadu. It is rectangular in shape and covers an area of about three and a half acres. The fort is enclosed by walls 25 to 26 feet high, including the parapet, 29 feet thick at the front, 18 feet at the corners and 6 feet at the rear. The portion running into the area is the most strongly built under the orders of De Lannoy during the reign of Mathandavarma (1729-58).

9. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial
The beautiful Gandhi Memorial was completed in 1956. Ashes of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was kept here in 1948 in an urn for the public homage. On 2nd of October every year the sun’s rays fall at the exact spot where the urn was kept before its immersion. A beautiful 79ft tall [marking the age of Mahatma] monument was constructed here and it is open for public viewing from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
10. Muttom Beach
The famous beach at Muttom is located about 16 kms from Nagercoil and 32 kms from Kanniyakumari. Muttom is famous for its beautiful landscaping and high rocks dipping into the sea at the beach-side. The sun set view point at Muttom is one of the most Panoramic view points in the district. Another attraction of Muttom is the century old light-house built by the British
