Awakening is the only game of the lot I actually finished. It's so demoralizing to be 20 hours into a game and still be far from the halfway point

I found it helps to break your goals into small steps and don’t think about the hours. Just set small goals (like getting a certain weapon or reaching a certain level). If you do this you’ll feel more accomplished as you go along. Also, when you reach this goal stop playing and come back the next day.

Your videos are the best on KZfaq right now. Even tho I don’t agree with all of your opinions, you express them with honesty and are an interesting speaker. Keep making videos on the 3DS. For pre a COVID zoomer like me, this handheld is the greatest console of all time

FE Awakening is my favorite 3DS game by far. Played it several times, feeling that's really short. Btw, Fates has 3 routes, Birthright, Conquest and Revelation, the third being the "true" story, and the one that was only sold on the 3DS eshop as a DLC, I think.

Wow. This sounds like me. Fire emblem awakening is amazing and I started it 2x and haven’t finished it.. ever oasis is amazing. I should boot it up and play it. Ever oasis deserves it’s own video that game is criminally unheard of or underrated.

im 50 hours into persona 3 reload haven't played it in months I really need go back but long games lose my attention after a while, I love the game though. i never had a 3ds so there's tons of games I've never even heard of

“The 3DS is my church” what a line haha. That’s got tattoo potential fr No worries about feeling bad about not having completed all those games. I’m working my way through many of the same titles and man they are MONSTERS in length. DQ series(as well as classic Final Fantasy) has a history of not respecting the players time with lots of tedious padding. I don’t mind it, but it does make it harder to marathon through them. I have to break it up with smaller titles like Kirby or Mario to get smaller wins haha. I made the mistakes of getting roped into Ultra Sun and I’ve clocked 120 hours into it…yikes I truly believe that the 3DS/DS has a lifetime of gaming experiences. We don’t need anything else!

I have some RPG’s I haven’t event started yet :-(. Like Bravely Second, Bowser’s Inside Story (though I played the DS version a fair amount), Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, Dragon Conquest 7 and 8. But also other cool games like Dragon Ball Fusions, Ocarina of Time. And a ton more on Switch. But some 3DS games I haven’t finished but did like are: Monster Hunter Stories, Majora’s Mask 3D (at the entrance of the fourth temple), Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros., Kid Icarus Uprising, Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure, Code Name STEAM. MHS I’m not sure of if I’ll ever continue it. It looks great though but couldn’t grasp me. Code Name STEAM has a great style but it’s so dang hard.

I never finished Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon. And I stopped playing right at the final boss! I think Paper Mario Sticker Stars came out at the time so I started playing that instead. Didn’t end up finishing that one either. 😂

Wow - DQ VIII - I put so many hours into that game well after beating it. That was back on the PS2 for me though. I bought it on 3DS too but didn't finish it there. I tried to get into Fire Emblem a couple times starting with Path of Radiance on the Game Cube but just could never get into the series. Ever Oasis - I really enjoyed what I played of it but I also got pulled away from it and never went back. A couple others I did not finish - Bravely Default and Fantasy Life...for whatever reason I just couldn't get into them.

Oh wow that really does put it in to perspective! It's a shame because from what I remember the gameplay was just as solid as any other entry in the FE series, but there was just something a bit off-putting about everything else.
