How many people dont have a Nintendo switch yet but are still watching videos about the switch?

Wait what was that last one about using the “vibration” feature?

I’d recommend if you are planning on going download only for your games that you buy one physical game (preferably a rather large one like Zelda BOTW) and just keep it in your switch. You maintain the convenience of being able to use it along with all of your other games without swapping game cards, the download size is much smaller, and physical games tend to cost less too.

This feels like one of those videos that Gamestop plays in their stores.

One feature that I think is really clever is actually a safety feature. With Nintendo being geared toward kids often, and the Switch using tiny cartridges, you’d expect choking to be a serious danger, right? Well, they put a coating of flavor on all Cartridges to make them taste HORRIBLE and even sting a little in the mouth

Another tip is the ability to update your games without connecting to the internet by downloading it from another user. If you press the options button (the + button) on the main menu for one of your game, and navigate to Software Update, you'll find Match Version with Local Users which is how you match to their updated version of their game.

Did you know you could use the switch joycon grip as a spare piece of bread for your toast? It's a little bit extra crunchy and burnt... but it does the job.

You can turn up the volume of your switch without pressing the button, or do other stuff like this with the quick menu. While you are playing, press the home button for a few seconds and the quick menu would appear on the right hand side :)

Why did the thumbnail photo show a memory/data card yet you didn't show any tips for memory/data cards? That is known as a #BaitAndSwitch ad tactic...

Problem with #10: It in most cases will be longer to take out the keyboard, plug it in the switch, and then type it in, instead of typing it in with the joy-cons. This isn't the wii here, where you have a shaky pointer to put in the credit card. You don't use your keyboard much anyway on the switch.

There are a ton of videos that tell people the Switch's "hidden" features (and I've watched a couple of them), but your video is, by far, the most entertaining. Thank you.

Correction: the game you buy in sweden WILL PLAY IN Englsih. All games are multi language. You can actually buy a physical copy of i am setsuna in japan, the only country where it was released in box, and it will play in english or whatever làguage your system is setup to.

For that keyboard thing, the switch has a touchscreen for that. The only thing a keyboard would be necessary for would be when the switch is in tv mode.

The internet “feature” is more of a hack and less of a feature

The direct battery strap-on is not a good idea since the Joycon are calibrated for a certain weight and a bigger battery _currently_ adds a lot of weight! 😉

But you didn't mention that you can't use Nintendo eShop gift cards for Japanese or other region games and you can't also use credit/debit cards as well.

Fun tip. To externally save your screenshots and photos, simply post to face and set the posts to only me. Then you can save your screenshots externally for use everywhere.

Here's one: if you actively use my nintendo like I do, any physical games by Nintendo that you own can get redeemed for gold points on the service, just press plus on the game, make sure the game card is in, then select the my Nintendo option and then redeem points. If you bought it at full price, that's a free 12 gold points, pretty handy when they finally have switch stuff on the service

was gonna give a thumbs down because you listed mostly common sense stuff BUT, the wife joke got me at the end. thumbs up.

There actually is a full browser on the switch, you have to go into your settings and change some super technical stuff, but it makes it work. Personally i didnt really think it was great and would rather use my phone anyways.
