Which area has long walking or jogging strips with many trees (not palm trees , you know trees with branches and the provide shade ?)???? In FLL or near FLL ? One more thing between Jan and April do you guys get Gators in FLL or late at night ?? (When one is tired late at night ... Don't want be startled by an alligator...) ( I'm not joking)

Mediocre. I lived there but moved to Wilton Manors. Much better.

Depends on what you think affordable is. Right now, you're probably looking around $1,400+ starting for a 1 bedroom and it's not going to be anything luxurious.
