One of my favourite artists of all time is considered by many a one hit wonder, his name is Mike Posner, he's the "I took a pill in Ibiza" guy and that's been his greatest hit ever, but the guy is one heck of a song writer and has one of the most inspiring stories I've ever heard, guy went from being an LA drug addicted, womanizing, pill popping superstar to eventually finding God, overcoming all his traumas, climbing mount Everest, walking the entirety of USA coast to coast even after being bitten by a venomous snake and surviving. Some of my fav songs from him would be "one hell of a song", "Be as you are", "buried in Detroit", "Iris" and "in the arms of a stranger"

Mike posner! He was actually a one hit wonder *before* I took a pill in ibiza and seeb, with his single "Cooler than me". He actually even reference it in ITaPiI with the lines "I'm just a singer who blew his shot. I get along with old timers cause my name's a reminder of a pop song people forgot". The original message was how he was a one hit wonder (Cooler than me was 2009) and how he (as a musician) looked at his life after rising to fame with 1 song, and then fade out of relevancy, as he seeks out seeking experiences to be fulfilled. The whole meaning was technically gone with Seeb (dj duo) making it sound like a song found in Ibizan club. Mike actually did an interview and said that at 36 (10th aniversary of writing the song), the lyrics were no longer true, as he turned his life around

Macarena was a mega huge world wide hit and dance craze just like Lambada was earlier on. The band A-Ha has been playing for 40yrs and just released another album. The singer still sounds very good live. And yes, the singer has aged very well.
