If a follower of the L.H.P. summons one, then they are treated well and get positive results. This applies to followers of the L.H.P. when summoning Angels, they are met with hostility. Basically if you come from one side and summon something from the other side, they can't tell if you intend to be hostile towards them or not, because an enemy summoning you does not make sense.

I knew about Legion (we are many) from the bible as a child. It was so long ago I can't remember the whole story. I think in the story Jesus or one of his prophets exercised the demons from a man and placed them into pigs who then drowned themselves in the waters. Creepy.

It's not difficult to summon an average demon as it's essentially a randomized affair. Only specific named entities require specific rituals to invoke or conjure, but it's dangerous if it's not done correctly and with protections put in place for the caster(s). Rituals must be performed to the letter and precise, including closing rituals and or saying goodbye. Otherwise random summonings are more likely to summon several lesser demons that together are strong enough to overpower the caster.
