Love having Joe Cole here in Tampa Bay. Crowd favorite and a great player. Quickly became our captain and gave us that much needed leader on the field. I hope he will stay on with the club in some capacity as we move to the MLS.

Eric Djemba-Djemba actually had some success after arriving in Denmark. At Odense Boldklub he was a valuable first team player, and where crucial for the danish sides three straight runner-up years. He also played a handfull of games in the Europa League for the danish side.

Zé Roberto actually announced his retirement at the end of the season (December in Brazil) in July this year. He played alongside Gabriel Jesus at Palmeiras, a player that wasn't even born when he made his professional debut. Fun fact: Kazu Miura is still playing in Japan, at the age of 50. He made his debut in 1986 here in Brazil.

how about dirk kuijt? after a decade of playing for feyenoord and liverpool, he signs himself into the turkish league, still performing well as a striker untill after much demand from fans of Feyenoord he returns to the club he calls home at the age of 36 leading a talented young group into league victory since game 1 and against teams with 5 times the budget. He helped them get that title for the first time since 1999! And every game he scored a goal that year, newspapers in the UK reported Liverpools KUYT was still banging them in aged 36 now thats a story!
