The only one I struggle with is the sin stuff, but it comes into perspective when I look back at how bad the problem was when I was an Atheist. I generally look to Paul's lamentations about his compulsive practices for comfort.

The main two points that I struggle with on this test, are the ones having to do with other believers. It's not that I don't _like_ being with other believers... it's just that there's a plethora of reasons why it is difficult for me to do so. One, is my job... I can't really go to Church, because of the scheduling of my job (I work overnights, and Saturday night is one of those nights I work). Church is usually held from 10-1 and that's right in the middle of when I need to sleep. Also, I'm heavily introverted, I'm not a people person at all. The few times I get to talk about God with someone, it's a pleasant experience, but I'm just not good at talking to people in person at all. I'd seek fellowship online, but there are a lot of people who have very strange ideas of what exactly Christianity should be and a lot of them have what I perceive as grievous errors in their theology. Lordship Salvation, Works-Righteousness, Post-Trib Rapture, and a number of other stuff that just makes me go "ick" and avoid those people. So, finding a group of people I actually do agree with and can freely talk about the Lord with isn't easy. The desire is there, but I haven't found a way to do that yet, so I wonder if that counts as passing those points.

Ask the Lord to help you find the right fellowship. You might also consider joining a Bible study or small group at a church that meets biblical qualifications.

Hi Todd, I’m so confused and now fearful. I didn’t know there was a check list. I believe and trust Jesus for my salvation and when I first heard the Gospel I was overjoyed. But, I fail to follow the commandments, I’ve sinned even after I knew I was saved…….greatly sinned. I’m a backslider and I’m appalled at myself most of the time. I put my faith in Jesus but this 10 point check list leaves me scared.

1 John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Our trust is in Him, not in our own ability. As we fail, we get back up. Pray for help to grow up. Toddlers stumble as they are learning to walk. This is the sanctification process. Run to Jesus when you struggle, He is the hope and the help.

You have trusted Christ for your salvation. 1 Cor. 15:3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures" Did Christ die for your sins or not? Did He pay the penalty for your sins or not? Was He your sacrifice or not? Did you believe the gospel or not? Do you want to know if you're saved? Here's how you can know. 1 John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; THAT YE MAY KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God". The miracle isn't that He will forgive your sins. If you're saved, the miracle is that He already has.

If you want to know if you're saved there is a very, very simple way to tell. 1 John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God". If you believed on Jesus then the only way you could not be saved is if God hasn't kept His promise.

Todd friel I don't know if my Voice Recorder spelled your name correctly. I apologize if it did not, you are very good at that and you are right about what you say so far out of all the videos have heard there's only one thing you're wrong about in a dozen of the 10 commandments, okay, like you say and I agree with you when you keep the commandments. A type of love and devotion because you are saved not to be saved. You don't do it out of good works because you're trying to force your hand to be saved. You do the good works as you said, because you are saved. Me see that includes all 10 and you're disqualified. One of them which says remember. And it's important because it identifies the father or guards. The creator accused me that Jesus is the creator and it does much more than that. But that's just the beginning. Anyway, maybe you and I someday could discuss that if you're willing go through all the scriptures and contacts about the sabbath. Because that truly is important and one of the thing, I don't know what you teach about the state of the day, I haven't seen those videos yet I hope you don't teach immortality because we don't have the immortality. We'll receive the fruit of immortality and the tree of life and heaven. But we don't have it right now. Suffer a rare few select people that God chose for a purpose.

Submission, If you have repented and followed him the temptation will still linger (cause temptation is gods way of testing our faith), but if you truly submit to your flesh, surround yourself with his word, and build a relationships with jesus it's ganna be a whole lot easier to fight of temptation because you're ganna have real true love for jesus, just as a kid feels bad when we hurt our parents, apart of us will feel terrible when we go against god. It all stems off relationship and true love. If you do have a true relationship with the father it could also be that you have unforgiveness towards someone. He will send demons to torment us if we continue to not forgive people despite what they have done. For how can you expect forgiveness if you haven't forgave someone thats made in gods image? I recently fully submitted to jesus 2 weeks ago after 2 years of being a full blown stoner and porn addict and went cold turkey because of relationship, yes i still get tempted when I even smell weed but it really does hurt me when i knowingly sin against my father because of the relationship we built. It took me 6 months to fully submit and want a relationship so dont beat yourself up it takes time but he is surely working on you! Just remember we are in a spiritual warzone 24/7 so put on the full armor of god and know the temptation is ALWAYS a test, If you fully gave your life to him you cannot go to the next level without passing the test first, just like school. God bless you have a wonderful day! everytime you get tempted, talk to god, pray, or get in his word via sermons, bible, ect. Its all about relationship!

What a lot of people don't understand, is that the sinner is a rough ugly block of stone, and God is the artist with the chisel. Each sin is a piece of stone that needs chiselled off of the block. God is the artist, He's the one cleaning you up. He knows what sins you are ready to tackle and when you're ready to tackle of them. Some of them, He will toss out in the first week of your new Christian life. Other sins are so very deeply rooted, He knows that He will have to build your faith and spiritual strength up until you're strong enough to break those sins. Some sins, you might never break until the day you die. Know that Christ paid for *ALL* sin, Past, Present, _and Future_ and that no sin is too bad that He won't rid you of once it's time to leave this place. As long as you continue to maintain an attitude of repentance, and don't fall complacent or think your sin is OK, you should be fine. Also, I think God leaves some sin in our lives, so that we do not fall victim to Pride. Someone who has very little sin in their life is in danger of allowing Pride to take root... "Look at how holy I am! I have almost zero sin in my life!" ... the next day, he goes and commits adultery or something like that. No thanks, I don't want that being me. My sin keeps me humble. I know what my sins are, I hate my sins, but they are a part of me, until God chisels them off of me or until I die, whichever happens sooner. I'd rather have those sins, than arrogant hubris, the last thing I want, is to be lulled into this false belief that I am holy because most of my sins are gone. No, the only reason I have any holiness or any righteousness whatsoever, is because Christ gave me that. I want zero reason to think of myself highly whatsoever.

When I got saved, I was talking to a sister in Christ who told me that when she came to God, she was always going to clubs. She really enjoyed going there. She said that she enjoyed it so much that even after coming to Jesus, she refused to give it up. But while she was still going to clubs, she was getting into His Word and worshiping Him every day. After some time, she stopped enjoying being at the clubs, and stopped going. It no longer seemed fun to her. I remember this because she told me that God will change us. All we have to do is continue to come to Him, and He will change us. What we enjoy now, He will help us to no longer enjoy it. Bottom line, keep your focus always on Him, and He will deliver you from it. When you fall, and you will, not only once, but many times, never let that discourage you in coming to Him in worship and prayer. In His Time, you will be delivered from this. I know its a struggle, but remember this: "For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again..." Proverbs 24:16(a).

The amount of change expected is something I believe is individual and personal between that person and God. Random example but a former thief who resists a temptation to steal something or perhaps even returns a stolen item has taken a much greater step than your average Joe who could have had the same situation. Both did right in God’s eyes but it meant a lot more to one in terms of spiritual growth compared to the other. I wouldn’t dwell on it too much. God knows we are flesh and we will fall. I believe he is more so looking for that “Are you trying? Are you showing that your relationship with him matters?” When you fall do you wallow in your sin or able you able to stand back up, go to God for forgiveness, believe that you are forgiven as that’s what the Bible says, and just keep moving and serving him.

"Be certain"? Then, what is given is a ten point test to leave everyone questioning; they amount to "signs" that help you know that you may be saved. Ouch! I'm sure if you like his video, that's a sign your saved. Lol. John did write 1Jn. that we may actually know, but because this minister doesn't see the sacramental connection to what John's writing, he misses the certainty of the promise given in what is declared. It is what John has seen, heard, and handled that he is declaring. In that declaration we see, hear and handle Him too. There is a sacramental component; it is the very place we "practice the truth." Jesus came in the flesh and we have certainty through His means of grace. He writes to the children of God to give assurance that their sins are forgiven for "His Name's sake." That is a reference to their being baptized. God has put His Name on them and they can know therefore that their sins are forgiven. If any have questions, I'm happy to elaborate, but this is an old video and I don't have a lot of time right now. Juxtapose the rich young ruler (one trying to keep the law) but going away grieved with the Ethiopian Eunuch. Notice the Ethiopian did everything needed in his being washed in baptism. The Ethiopian did nothing, he was being done unto, being baptized, and he went his way rejoicing. If one has questions about something in 1Jn. I'd be happy to help.

Prove God Does not Exist! There is more evidence for God and Jesus Christ outside the Bible than there is for other historical figures. Check your history and facts before making a judgement about God.

Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33 tell us how God forgives us when we sin. There is NOTHING in there about believing in Jesus. We are forgiven when we repent and do good deeds. Again, NOTHING about Jesus. God judges us on our actions, not our theology! The death of Jesus doesn't forgive you of your sin. Read Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33! Do what God says: repent and do good deeds! That's how you do it! Christians don't ever talk about Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33! It is forbidden because it shows how God forgives sin without Jesus! Again, read Ezekiel chapters 18 and 33. Worship God, not a man. Number 23:19 tells us that God is not a man!

Mankind doesn’t stand a chance with God if Jesus didn’t shed His precious blood on that cross as a propitiation for all our sins! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Him. Mankind cannot meet God’s standard of no sin ever, period! Jesus is the perfect blood sacrifice, the Lamb of God as John the Baptist calls Him. We must admit we’re sinners, repent of our sins, and call on Jesus as our Savior. We should pray daily, confess our sins to Him daily, and read our Bible daily. This is not a works salvation. We do these things to know God’s Will and stay on the right path. You can’t just read The Old Testament and get salvation. The New Testament is the fulfillment of God’s Promise to redeem mankind from eternal damnation. You can’t bypass The Son in the Holy Trinity and get salvation and without The Son returning to Heaven we wouldn’t get The Holy Spirit.

1 Cor. 15:3,4 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures Galations 1:8,9 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

This entire program is trash. Everything is about me, myself, and I. Everything in pointing to self. Look to the savior and not to the sinner. Christ paid it all. His burden is easy and His yoke is light. Simply believe on Christ. No amount of your sorrow can ever get or prove you saved. Simply believe on Christ.

Calvinism's perseverance of the saints and false grace preclude knowing with certainty they are saved, even according to Calvinists. Calvinism is false, scripture doesn't teach such doctrines, their 9- not just 5 called Tulip - beginning with and predicated on Calvinism's 2 foundational doctrines of "their definition" of sovereign and "their unbiblical Meticulous determineism which makes God the only sinner. It, Calvinism, teaches that God "has" determined every single thought, word, and deed that every single person will think, say, and do, including sinful ones. 1 Samuel 23: 6-13; Jeremiah 7:31, for just 2 clear verses refuting Calvinism's 2 foundational doctrines. Calvinism is refuted from Genesis to Revelation.
