Over the years I’ve come to recognize Eco’s greatness more and more. Real marvel to witness. I am curious!! Where do you think Renegade should have landed?

@@DeviousGruntAlliance Eh I was only upset because I hadn't gotten to the part where Eco was first lol, was happy to see him receive deserved recognition. I think I'd put Renegade second over Lucid, just because I find Renegade to be more consistently clutch which is something I personally value highly. The amount of situations that looked terrible for C9 that Renegade manages to get an extra kill, or stay alive, or get a touch during has just been absolutely unbelievable to watch. Lucid is still a beast don't get me wrong, but I think Renegade is just a more well-rounded, clutch player than Lucid is.

@@c10ember39 Ohhh okay I get it now. Yeah in the future I may change the structure of these videos, it’s hard to distinguish what’s “impressive” from what’s the “best”. Renegade over Lucid for Anaheim I do agree with, he performed better! I was just proud of Lucid haha I thought he stepped up big time

To be honest (as a competitive Halo fan since H3 and a C9 fan since 2013), the player that impressed me the most at the tournament overall is Spartan. That dude stepped up the most relative to his performance pre-tournament to Anaheim. Like everyone already knew Lucid was a god and C9 were the best overall roster, but Spartan came out of nowhere and put on absolute show all weekend, became a true superstar imo.

@@andresdavidsanchezgranda3765 My best guess is either SSG or no where until after Kansas City. If you think about it, Formal & him basically swapped places, now just like Formal sat out from Anaheim there aren’t many clear/good options for Ola

Hard to say for now! I was kind of wanting more from Formal at Raleigh, but obvi it's hard to judge with the situation he was in then. I think Formal on Optic now is his first real test to see how good he really is. I agree his coms are next level. I hold Eco as higher value for now, but the floor is open for Formal

Formal doesn’t necessarily IGL in Halo yet in comparison to Eco. Formal is more of human UAV/radar in regards to his comms in Halo. Eco literally comms actions that need to be made more so than where the enemy is on the map. They are both great communicators in there own way.

Sometimes they do! I think SnakeBite is a great example of someone who commands but also clutches 1v2s, and handles objective so well. Eco is also just like this & his clutches & gunplay were so amazing at Anaheim. A lot of his skills aren't seen easily through the screen like Mikwen said, but he is so important to making the team work. I'd say his leadership is his best quality, and he overall was shooting better than normal this tournament

I think it was a very quick decision that wasn't entirely to blame on Ola's performance. I don't think he was the problem with Optic, more-so the team dynamic & how they used him. Formal was also prime real estate, I'd be willing to bet he was getting team offers & the other guys on OG just decided to pull trig. All speculation though. I do think OG inevitably had to make a team change to contest C9 though, in my opinion they nearly hit their ceiling at Anaheim. They possibly had foresight that the current roster was just not gonna work, and were just quick with it. Whether or not they'll improve I'm neutral to it. On paper Formal "should" make them better, but it's really impossible to tell until we see them in tournament, it's first place or bust now

Renegade said specifically Ola was the best on the team against them and he was surprised when he was dropped, just because Ola was dropped does not mean he did bad, he was dropped for playstyle not for ability, there were countless games, 2-3 against C9 the best team and games against other teams where Ola was pivotal, Ola did bad in every game against eUnited and that was it

@@DeviousGruntAlliance and also I meant Envore should have been on the actual thing, not a HM, his placement doesn’t mean he wasn’t great, he showed great leadership, composure and determination, the guy is a future star in halo
