I'm really happy Phil was able to swallow his past anger and resentment towards Tim and stay in the band. Like he's the only original member of the past lineup who's genuinely forgiven Tim and continues a professional relationship with him as a musician and a friendship. I look forward to hearing stuff from the new lineup and can't wait for the next new single and eventually new album.

tamper your expectations, AILD has been my favorite band for 15 years, saw them live for the 3rd time recently, and I'm not sure if Tim was just having an offday but the vocals really struggled. maybe it didn't help they following Shadow of Intent, Brand of Sacrifice and White Chapel, but I left bummed out.

@keenman0403
@keenman0403 Жыл бұрын
According to the TIWWA documentary, I think he was actually self-taught when his band at the time needed a vocalist and there wasn’t anyone else who was willing to scream. As far as his technique goes, he’s stated on the band Twitch stream back in 2020 and IG comments in response to fans that he doesn’t really know what his technique is or even focus much on technique at all; he just screams however way feels right for the part. From what I hear in the most recent records, it sounds like his lows are more FC, his mids are a like a blend of fry and FC, and his highs sound pretty fry. Live, however, he doesn’t scream exactly the same way as he does on records, and nor should he tbh so that he doesn’t blow out his voice.

As much as I loved this band growing up you've gotta admit when something just isn't right man. This dude has clearly pushed out and alienated the other members of the band. @@kenlowiii it's all about money. They want more money but of course you can only make so much and then if you give people more money that takes money away from you. Only 1 person went away "badly" the others. Well one joined another band and left with no hostile intention. Jordan left because during covid obviously they weren't making money so Jordan wanted free money. It's a business. And when business isn't good then you leave. If he's such a bad guy then why have other people joined? If he was really bad then no one would want to work with him. If he's so bad why does he have all these non profits that he works with? If he was so bad why did he become my pen pal and help me out with my addiction issues? If he's so bad why do people still talk to him? Some people can't get over shit and leave. ( Referring to the comment section , not the video itself) Whenever i see people hate or criticize Tim for his past mistakes , it makes me really sad. You guys don't know how thin the thread is between sanity and insanity . Imagine what he was going through back then...Mind you, what he did was more than wrong . There are times in your life where evil leads you astray from your path but the thing is that there's always a chance to redeem yourself by becoming the best version of yourself and living an honest and peaceful life , your past does not matter. Tim payed the price for what he did . I've heard people that loved AILD say that they stopped listening to them because of Tim's personal life. Grow the fuck up , music is music. just that . If i enjoy listening a riff from AILD's old records , i just DO . Anyway i am glad to see that he is a better person now . Every one deserves a second chance in life . The only thing that matters is what you do to make other people's lives better. And i think he still does that with his music.

Even in how he speaks about his previous members, there is a level of pettiness. He names Josh leaving, but doesn't name Nick or Jordan by name. Also primary songwriter doesn't mean their wasn't contribution from Jordan, Josh or Nick. On the Wovenwar records, they are credited with songwriting, so I very much doubt over however many years, they didn't write their own parts. What still bothers me to this day, is that he is the common denominator for why everything fell apart, but makes out that it everything to do with them, and nothing to do with him.

He's now an addictio counselor abd does everything he can to help people get over addictions and is doing his best to make the best out of life and mending the bridges he burned. Will that fact ever be forgotten? Absolutely not, how ever, being that he went to prison for what he did and turned a a really bad negative into the best thing he can. I have nothing but respect for him. If you don't you're free to think what you will, but I think his personal life is unimportant to me, because it didn't include me or effect me. @@gwen6622 again he tried to hire someone to kill his ex wife. It's obvious you don't like him, that super, why are you still here? His personal life has no relation to you or me. It would be wrong and stupid of me to base my enjoyment of music/art completely off of the artist's personal life or challenges. Based off of your logic though... Beethoven was a raging alcoholic, Van Gogh lost his mind and cut off his own ear, Michelangelo Merisi killed a guy in a street fight and ran, Picaso stole some statues to get inspiration, Dali willingly pushed a friend off of a bridge and smiled, Francis Baco was very abusive, Benvenuto Cellini was a psycho, Walt Disney supported and funded Nazi Germany, and there's many many more. My point is there's nobody perfect everyone makes bad choices. Im not going to let their choices or actions in life change my opinion about their art work. So that's not saying they didn't do what they did, that's simply enjoying the art. Tim knows his bad choices and chose to make his life better. You're again free to do what you want, but trolling on people who see who he has become and respect him, makes you not just look jealous, but envious. Tell me, what did you do that didn't make you famous like Dahmer or Bundy? Is that why you're so obsessed over what other people think of Tim?

He proved that by hiring someone to kill her but the person he hired was a fed and had him arrested. There is no justification for what he did and he himself has admitted that he could've sorted things out differently and admits what he did was horrible so people who defend him are defending something he himself doesn't even stand by anymore. Parents split up all the time and separate but most don't try to have the other killed for it. So there is no excuse.
