Your projects always turn out absolutely stunning! There hasn't been one that I haven't really enjoyed yet... Also, if you don't top coat after using the Dixie Belle or Modern Masters patina sprays, they can potentially continue to rust or patina. So, if you like how it turns out, I suggest top coating it as soon as possible! You can buy Dixie Belle top coat specific to the patina sprays or any water or oil based poly, outdoor mod podge, Rustoleum 2x Clear Matte, etc will work as well...

I use spray shellac to prevent old colors from bleeding through the chalk paint. It really works well.

Yeah I like the way the mod podge makes it look like a painting. I think I would have left off the crackle 😂 I so understand the distractions❤

Since DIY cottage colors have both a primer and a sealer, it must be stirred throughly. I believe that's why your first coat is streaky. ❤

Love how the beautiful iron looking piece turned out! The tall fennel is gorgeous! The two plaques are stunning! Love the amazing magazine rack! Love the wonderful color! The crock, is fantastic! You have been busy and these 10 projects are so great to watch! I liked the magazine rack- so pretty in that yellow! The wall sconces are just perfect. They may be my fav. I always learn new tricks when I watch. Thank you for all 10 of these projects! In TN, we have had temps in the high 80’s. So not bad yet! 🍄🌸🌺

I have had the same problem with any water based primers. I now use spray shellac exclusively and it works much better. Love your video and the projects turned out great!

I love all your projects; however, I don't know why you think you have to play music, particularly with singing, while you talk. It's not balanced to be completely in the background and interferes with what you are saying.

Most KZfaq creators do the exact same thing? It’s not like she’s doing something wrong and I don’t see any issues with it at all. The music is lowered majorly when she speaks so it’s not interfering with her voice or competing.

Yes and no! It is very pleasant music that sounds like the k dramas I adore! She scales it back when she talks and that helps!! Please don’t complain because so many channels blare the most god awful music and this is MUCH preferred not to mention the quality of her work!!! I am autistic and loud music is a huge trigger for me but this is so chill that I love it!

@@thechickincharge1073 you say not to complain, but then you complained about some other channels, while telling this commenter, and me, who made the same comment, not to complain. I’m glad YOU love the music, but it isn’t for everyone. I am on the spectrum, and also have ADHD, so I found the chorus especially, to be very difficult for me. We aren’t complying about the content, just the music. I’d just personally like to learn and I don’t need to be constantly stimulated. In other videos on the channel, the music is much more subdued.

I am quite sure that none of the big successful channels, regardless of the content type, play any loud or irritating music at all of any kind ever during the main body of the video. Some have loud or obnoxious intro, and sometimes also outro, music but there is usually a marketing strategy behind that. Creators that want their viewers to pay attention, to like the content and in turn subscribe do not play music with vocals let alone at a distracting volume
