10 Rangers Players Who ONLY Scored Screamers

A look back at 10 players with a 100% screamer rate for Rangers from the Advocaat era and on. To be considered the player can't have an average goal in their collection and Rankings are decided by number of wondergoals they scored. When number of goals are even as with half the list the order is determined by my own opinion on which goal was better/bigger. Less context building on this video as the focus is mainly placed on the goals.

Keep up the good work mate the channel is awesome. Well put together videos and good information by yourself that bring back many memories indeed. Sad to see the Goalie leave us, what a man and a pleasure to have met him when I was a boy. Did ball boy for him as Davy Dodds took shots, my goalkeeping hero!

Cheers man. Not quite of an age to fully appreciate Andy Goram as a player but hes such an iconic figure. I'm gonna look into bringing in someone old enough to have enjoyed the 90s properly to guest host an episode for the Goalie a year on from his passing with all monies made from the video going to a Cancer charity.

No Bertie Konterman? I think you would be able to get 10 screamers V that mob from players who didn’t score much, already got Ugo Ehiog and Mendes, could add Jamie Ness, Konterman, Thern, Charlie Adam et al

Konterman along with a few of the others you mention defo going on a future players who only have the one memorable goal video, but he scored a couple of right jammy pinball deflection free kicks too that ruled him out of this one.

You may be in for a bit of a wait, as Rangers don't really look like winning another trophy anytime soon. And I think the current board has a lot to answer for.

Would have to have been his only Paul, he has a couple more. Examples like him did get me started on another video for a bit down the road though in players only really remembered for one goal. See Numan and Ness.

Mate I thought so too, he made the shortlist to look at when I wrote it based on the Old Firm peach but he scored a couple more that weren't quite of the same standard. I may or may not have already started a similar list for down the road of players who are only remembered for one goal that may or may not feature Jamie Ness for the same reasons.

@@Top10Rangers I was sitting in the Govan when Ness scored that goal but every time I think of it I can only see it the way the TV cameras were looking from. Guess that's what happens when you get blootered before going in 😆 🤣 Probably the same reason why I can only remember that goal that Numan scored for us lol. I genuinely can't think of another he scored. That one would be hard as hell to forget tbf. It was a bloody screamer!!

Screamer against Celtic aside, Ness scored another one which was decent but not same level against Dundee Utd. Him and a few players that were on the shortlist for this one but didn't make it for that reason will appear on a 'players remembered for one goal' video down the line at some point.

Great goals but not the best Rangers goals / Mark Hateley v Leeds, Ray Wilkins v them, Albertz he could have his own collection!

Don't know if you've quite picked up the category Jon, the players had to have only scored Screamers and nothing else. Albertz could have a Top 10 of belters he scored sure but all the Penalties rule him out of contention for this one.

Delighted mate. Colak looks robust enough for our League but also calm infront of goal. Think he'll even surpass expecations. Lawrence will frustrate the life out of some by backing himself and shooting from around the edge of the box which everyone wants more of until 4 or 5 get blazed over in the first half but will be effective in our team no doubt. Souttar I've been a massive fan of since his Dundee Utd days. Right winger and we're sorted.

Against the grain for most but I loved Charlie Adam as a player for us. One look at the guy and you know he isn't the left mid we used him as most of the time but in big games where he'd play more centrally he was outstanding in Europe and a couple of Old Firms.

think i could find 10 better screamers than that.. Ferguson, Novo, Alberts, to mention a few...Think they should have come under one hit wonders. !! But not SCREAMERS.

Sorry if it wasn’t clear enough in the intro or title, one hit wonders is the theme. Ferguson, Albertz and Novo all scored penalties for example.

Unquestionably a top shelf screamer Gary, goes with a few others from the comments into a future ‘one memorable goal’ style video but from memory of the research I want to say he had like 5 goals.
