GM offered a station wagon option in 1953, special order. Only 12 customers took delivery of a 1953 Corvette Station Wagon.. at least one in a museum, find pics online.

I retired from General Motors Design Staff Corvette program, and this guy says so many inaccurate things that I had to give it a thumbs down. He didn't know that the L88 was a race car and then stated that the L89 was an aluminum engine when it was only aluminum cylinder heads. Worst Corvette post that I have see.

The 1969 ZL-1 Corvette does not have the L88 427 engine, it has the ZL-1 aluminum cylinder block 427 engine. Many more of these engines were installed in 1969 ZL-1 Camaros than the Corvette.

Zl1 had an all aluminum engine. The l88 was iron block aluminum heads.

There were only 4 1954 Corvettes that were painted Black from the factory. One of our Corvette Club members has one of the 4. Rick Hendrick also has one.

The 63/64 Grand Sport cars were supposed to be destroyed but we're sold off and campaigned by Roger Penske and others with the 6.2 engine and layer with the mystery 427.

The Rondine is one of the most beautiful cars ever devised. Every time I see it appear, I wonder why a special production run wasn't considered. Pininfarina produced a masterpiece.

Pilot light Corvette? That is just stupid a pilot light is found on a gas stove or furnace and has nothing to do with a pilot program car. Do people not take English in high school any more?
