This video discusses 10 reasons original cocktail menus fail at bars and restaurants across the country. Original cocktails are those twist and turns on classic cocktails that bars put on their cocktail menus in order to be original, or creative, with their cocktail menu. But have you ever sat at a bar that had a lot of their own original drinks on a menu, but they can't make you a classic Old Fashioned or Daiquiri? Or have you noticed bars that use 9 or 10 ingredients in every drink? In the video Ben lists out some common errors and missteps bars make when setting up and executing their cocktail menus. While we are not poking fun at bars that are trying their best, we are rather making an effort to give the world better cocktails, the motto of the channel. We only hope to inform people of some of the pitfalls in making drinks. Enjoy the video!
