Apple ditching the headphone jack is not anything about better music quality or so in the least as they try to deceive people with their fake words, it's about not having to pay the small royalty to dolby for 3.5mm jack which has been around since 1878. While dolby charges less than a dollar as royalty fees, apple now charges 4$ per connector on a product. That's more than 4 times atleast for something so trivial and yet fools will support apple regardless. Basically, apple is simply money hungry and constantly looking for ways to make a profit rather than commit on technology, none of their products has to do with any innovation or anything. Every card they play has to do something with profit increase and doesn't help you, a consumer, or a product in the slightest. I hope that answered your question.

I'm upgrading my iPhone 6 in Jan. Really wanted to like the X but compared to the competitors you really see how over priced and under functioned the X really is. Finally going to switch to Android. Compared everything and the LGV30 is the one for me. It's the one phone that has everything, even better than the Samsung Galaxy S8.

I started off my smart phone journey with android and after being disappointed years back with S4 I switched to iPhone then because of all the hype and to be honest, I liked how simple and handy it is and also enjoyed the app store with better apps. However it now looks like apple are copying android and behind while pricing their phones so high without justification for the unreasonable high price. I really tried to see why I should buy this or iPhone 8. I am yet to find a reason to pay such amount. I will look at what's available in the android market now which I have been scared to do because I know I will find better.
