I don’t think so bud , apple still has the gold standard of support and updates, Apple I think it’s pretty clear spent more money on its chipsets over the years while Samsung inflicted the lack lustre Exynos on 75% of the planet for years . The iPhones may not have certain features , but they also have some features like the silent button, the LiDAR, better chipsets, elements of the camera are better, flat screens rather than crappy curved edge screens, and IOS does have some redeeming qualities that android does not. I am a long time android and old school galaxy boy , but i now also own an iPhone, and currently I see no reason to go back to android. I will say both the big phone makers have done things in recent years that still piss me off to this day, but imo apple apple is just a better proposition.

The only reason to get one now is because the discounts are ginormous on Samsung’s website. They’re always going back & forth. It’ll the same in a few months(I’m just guessing)until the same is said again when the next of the S series comes out.

@@bustercolin7507 Agreed. I have an iPhone as my work phone and main video chat/messaging device. I also have the Apple watch and a cellular iPad mini. There is no denying that Apple handles basic phone functions like a champ. But for my personal device, I use a Samsung. Right now I have the S22 ultra and Z Fold 4 that I am trying out before I make my final decision of which to keep. I am not big on mobile gaming, but I love emulation for old school games. Also multitasking, customization, better file management, cable transfer speeds, UI navigation are some of the main reasons why can't go all in with Apple.

Another excellent video. You mentioned the S22 ultra is cheaper than even iPhone 14 Pro. Well, it was cheaper than even 13 Pro. I have the S22 Ultra in green, the 12 gb, 256 gb version. While purchasing 3 months ago, I also verified the price of the iPhone 13 Pro. It was atleast 12k costlier than S22 ultra after all the discounts that Samsung provides, not even considering the Galaxy Watch 4 that I got with this purchase. You made a good point when you said unless someone really needs to make regular video content, the iPhone pro versions are no value for money. Very good phones but unjustified price tag. And TBH, a little bit boring, if you have had the pleasure of using S22 Ultra specifically.

Watching from my S22 Ultra in Burgundy. Honestly, it's the customization, the S-Pen features, and the 30x/100x Optical zoom that makes the S22 Ultra feel like a different league on its own. I was thinking of switching but the 14 Pro lineup isn't worth it at all if you have the S22 Ultra in my opinion.

@@gangatalishis I will say wait for the s23 ultra, since is around the corner. Regarding imessage, that's just a gimmick. There's nothing special about. Now in days, most people use discord, whatsapp and even snapchat. Same thing goes for facetime, which surprisingly no one is talking about it anymore as a deal to switch to iphone. Don't get me wrong, the design of the Iphone 14 pro max is beautiful and feels nice and premium to grab. However, IOS is just bad. The lack of features and innovation compared to stock android or One UI is absurd. It had me thinking, what are developers at Apple actually doing? You can't even do a scrolling screenshot on IOS, unless you are in safari and take a screenshot of the entire website. And something that doesn't make sense what so over is how the hell the calculator app in IOS doesn't have a delete/backspace button!? Isn't Apple well known for doing things "better"? There are a bunch of things that I don't like about IOS and if they actually step up their game and bring a lot of features that one UI hasI may consider future iPhones.

No chance of that. The chip is sub-par compared to what has come since, and s-pen is niche, as is 10X zoom. Take these away and the iPhone is better in nearly every metric (faster CPU, better GPU, longer battery life, best video, two extra years of updates, and so on.

@andyH_England nope it was and Pen is very important even though You wouldn't know cause Crapple doesn't have and instead of a Sunken Island with a small area under an ugly pill...where as Samsung has the entire lockscreen and one can say put address in case it's lost...Samsung thus way more stylish and great...although Iphoney has Crash detection for when Island plummets to the bottom of the ocean

Great video as always… there are some other points which makes Samsung phones more useful in day to day activities and usage … the things that iPhone can’t do for years; - can’t pause a video while recording - No T9 smart dialing - No number row on the native keyboard - recent call list limited to 200 entries only And the list goes on and on

No clipboard I mean that’s a basic thing No history for calculator unless you pay3rd party app No pip in most apps To download photo from gdrive u save to files then save to photos then delete from files. Still can’t read media on phone memory.

@@vise5224, I have a clipboard app that syncs across my devices. I use a third-party calculator and support developers. PiP is available in all the apps I use (YT, Netflix, Amazon, AppleTV). Never heard of Hydrogen. I keep all my files in the cloud; it is 2022!

For a lot of the world outside of the walled garden, people's phones are their only computer, so the more versatility a phone offers the better. The Notes, Ultras, and Folds offer productivity features an iPhone simply doesn't have. Yes iPhones are cute for social media and content creators, but my actual work documents and workload revolve around my s22 ultra.

Hi @mobiscrub; the video is really good, the only thing that I feel would get more watch time in your video is that if you re-arrange the 10 reasons by keeping the C-type cable; Using it as a power bank to the end of the video and other much appreciated features like Samsung Desk; Taking notes features etc. to the very beginning since they will force the audience to get more into the video. Both are superior in their own ways. Know what you want to do with your phone, what you're going to use it for (like the way you select laptops) and run with it. You won't regret buying either of the flagships. If you can afford seamless Apple ecosystem, go with it. Everything just works. And if you want to go for android ecosystem, it might not be as seamless as iOs , but the options are plenty to customise everywhere, mix and match. I have both the phones with me, and its bloody hard to say which one is better or superior.

There's a seamless ecosystem with Android (precisely Samsung) as well. I have the S7 FE tablet, my Watch 4, my S22, Samsung monitors, and my Samsung TV, DEX feature being used whenever/wherever I want around my house and Bixby controlling wireless and intelligent devices around my house. Nobody ever mention this because nobody pays attention to use it in the Android side, or brag about it. My Genesis G80 has better wireless Android experience than that of an Apple CarPlay, and yet working with no issues since. There's so much to compare...but only Apple fans dare to keep trying. I still got my kids trying to figure out how to pay the expensive iCloud subscription to keep up with storage needs (which is always something to talk about), which I dont have with my 512GB S22 (at a cheaper price), while backing up remotely to my PC and Gdrive. :-P

I wish I could be on a S22 Ultra but having two Apple ecosystems for work and home, this phone would be a break in that chain. I used a Note last year and although I loved it, couldn’t text, make calls or FaceTime from my MAC, iPad, etc. My watch became just for time, steps, minimal features. Then my AirTags, have one on my dog, one hidden in my car, one in my work backpack, etc. I’m just too deep.

Just thought I would add this...but as a long time Note user the biggest deal breaker for me for the Galaxy S22 ULTRA was the curved display. I can't stand the curved displays. Sure they look nice and make for great renderings, but in practicality they cause a lot of issues for every day use. I have the Fold 3 atm, and its literally the opposite situation...instead we have a flat display but with a bump along the edges. I don't know why Samsung can't just make the PRO models flat edge displays. Also, you're giving reasons why to choose the Galaxy S22...but some of your reasons you just say "iPhones can't do this", or "can't do that"...but in truth they operate differently. For example, transferring files via USB...Apple has chosen to go completely wireless, so saying iPhones can't connect to devices and transfer files is true, but thats because thats not how iPhones work. In order to use an iPhone you have to adjust how you manage your content, and the more Apple products you have or the more you have committed to their eco system the more the experience will be seamless. Once you have reached the point that the experience is seamless I would argue that the experience is better then Android/PC, and this is coming from a very long time Android user/Designer/Dev. Sure there are pros and cons, but you have to address reasons that are legitimate, like the camera reason...thats a solid reason!

I already mentioned in the video that if you're in the apple ecosystem, then it's better. But being able to just connect and transfer files (even large files) is just not as simple as it is with an Android phone. You can't expect all machines to have iTunes which can then be used.

There's also confirmation bias. When you believe in something, you look for all reasons to justify it too. I've been using the iPhone for a few days now, and its been rather unpleasant. Things are slow and not as intuitive.

There's no question the S22 Ultra and soon the S23 Samsung phones are superior to Apple. I really appreciate Samsung's variety of options that gives me max flexibility in my daily usage. Samsung is light years ahead of Apple unless you're into boring phones 🤣 Thanks for another on target review. I appreciate your videos. 🤗

Totally agree but the things I like from the iPhone is battery, smooth and consistent performance and video recording. Other than that I like the S22 more.

No. The quality of the video is not just about specifications. It's also about sharpness and color profile that iPhone does better than s22 ultra. iPhone also has higher performing chip that will ensure faster editing and faster video exports

@@mistyluv261 Video sharpness and clarity iPhone is excellent. That is one of the USP of Apple. This is the reason why many utubers carry iPhone as their secondary device. Rest all case S22 is far superior. I wish the latest s23 Ultra can beat it. If S23 accomplishes that I can proudly say SAM will beat Apple in almost every segments. It will mark the end of iSheeps bragging.

I agree with you, likely you be using some of the Samsung features over the iPhone. For me it’s very important with a good camera. How is your experience with that? I live in a country where the Exynos version is sold. Are you using the exynos or snapdragon?

One of friend was long term Samsung phones user and he really loved his Samsung devices, he had s9+ and last year he bought s21+ but few months ago he switched to iPhone 13 mini but few days ago he told me that he is going to switch back to Samsung whenever he gets the chance, and today he bought s22 ultra and he’s so happy.

I opted Iphone 13 pro over Samsung s22 ultra eventhough Iam in a Samsung ecosytem.Because, 1. Heating issue in s22 ultra, I used to feel the warmness over the phone even for a day to day tasks. 2. 1 year from the launch of samsung products the price of the product will be going down to 50% of the original price that which hurts the person one who bought the product for the full price.

I have been an android user for quite some time now. I started off with the Samsung s7 and even with the older Nokia phones before that. Now with the rise of Iphones, it is so hard to easily connect with people as more people use iPhones than android, at least here in the U.S. I was ultimately forced to switch but still have an S20+ just for peace of mind when I get tired using my iPhone.

Not a big difference dude. Just check the videos. I have used exynons and snapdragon time to time. Not a huge difference.

What a crisp of comparison. No highlights of extremely extra fearures of a galaxy phone just for the sake of calling it better but the distinction of usefulness it has over any iPhone.

On the Iphone, You can copy anything on the iphone and paste it on your MacBook Pro or iPad Pro. You can use Airdrop just like using a pen-drive without any wires attached as well. Both ecosystems are robust now. I find apple much more seamless.
