Lillard announced from the beginning that he was Afton. That’s why he tweeted “I always come back”, a phrase exclusively associated with the Purple Guy.

It's not even absurd that she survived. It is more absurd that her friends did not go and check the tarmac at all to see if she was alive. Every time I watch that movie now, all I can think is jezelle is just laying there in pain. Screaming for help and none of them are paying attention because they're all too busy having a heartfelt hug.

Also for Exorcist: Believer - It was so weird how they just brushed over Catherine being dragged to hell. It happens and immediately after, the movie tries to end on a hopeful note. Like an innocent child being dragged to hell isn't horrific??

FNAF's twist didn't fall flat with me. Even if it was predictable (it's a kid's movie, so I'm not upset), I loved the meta joke of the fact that, MatPat claimed for years that phone guy was William Afton. In the games, he very, very isn't. But having that actually be true here is fucking hilarious. Scott trolled everyone for paying attention. And having dream theory be a plot point was even funnier. The only thing that could have topped it was if Foxy was actually secretly on Mike's side the whole time. That'd be the trifecta of popular wrong fan theories.

As a requel, Scream 5 was meant to somewhat replicate what happened in Scream 1. Thus, you have the love interest being the killer in both... Go to Scream 6, where the characters are in college, just like Scream 2. In both, you have a pissed off family member upset that their son has died and they want revenge. While it might not be a flashy, OMG! reveal, it was the first time we had three killers, and the motive follows their movie counterpart (Scream 2). Personally, I had no issue with the reveals in either of the newer Screams... As long as a long-lost, unknown relative doesn't show up in Scream 7, I'll be happy... 😃

Glad to see Scream 6 on here because after watching it, I could not understand why it was being so highly praised. It was predictable from beginning to end and the fact that the body count was so low and not a single major character died, not even Gail who, lbr, should have been sacrificed to at least lend some authenticity, made it even more underwhelming. The Blackening, on the other hand, was surprisingly highly entertaining and since it was satire, I think everything played out exactly as it should have. The iPhone wasn't even the biggest give away. When the lady ran into Clifton at the gas station and she couldn't really remember him and then later the rest of the group also barely remembered him yet no one questioned who or why he was invited was a deliberate trope to show how horror movie characters overlook such glaring warning signs. He may as well have been wearing a bullseye with bright red arrows pointing at him.

Why does the Five Nights reveal have to be a shocking twist? Like what was said, we all knew Afton was going to show up somehow. If they'd kept his identity a secret just by excluding him from the trailers, people would've picked that apart, too. Additionally, they already set everything up from the very first meeting between "Steve" and Mike by having Steve trip up over Mike's last name.

I did not know that about Apple so that would not have clued me in, especially as an Android user who is not a fan of Apple for a myriad of reasons(I still love my iPod though). I think it's hilarious that an evil corporation worries about coming off as the product of choice for evil doers. Also, the Fast Franchise is just straight up urban fantasy. After the 3 or 4th movie they didn't even try to come close to anything realistic. I don't think anyone that loves that franchise expects anything different, including deaths to stick. If anything, the more outlandish they get, the more fun it is. They didn't jump the shark, they invited it to the family cook out.

I watched fnaf with a couple of teenagers. While I enjoyed seeing lilard ham it up with some stu vibes one onf the teens genuinely didn't see it coming, my guess is they haven't seen scream. So based on its a movie for the fans and teens, I think the twist worked as even though I knew going in that was the twist seeing a friend being surprised that it was him made it even better.

FNAF's twist was fine. The film had to walk a very fine line, similar to comic book movies: it has to appeal to people who know the franchise and people who don't. If you know nothing of the franchise, finding out who Jessica is and who Afton is are both decent twists. You know he's up to /something/, but when you learn about the ghosts you might presume he's sending people to die for any reason. Fans went in looking for errors in the story, and it wouldn't be the first time that a creative team may try to deviate from the source material. So while the twist was obvious to us, it was a "twist of relief": Yes, we saw it coming, but also, thank Freddy they didn't decide to make Mike an amnesiac killer or his sister a figment of his imagination or Jessica into the real villain.

I have to say. The FNAF movie is decent but it would be ten times better if they make William Afton the main character instead of Michael. Kinda like Godfather movie where the main protagonist is the bad guy all along who fall from grace. Plus making the animatronic as the bad guy is the wrong step because the story is more to William and Michael Afton rather than animatronic itself.

The iPhone wasn't why Clifton being the villain was obvious in The Blackening. It was obvious because he was the only one who pushed everyone to play the game when they didn't want to. They also focused on him in certain shots that just screamed "he's behind this". I called it right after they got locked in the game room because of this. Also the real twist in exorcist believer was that Leslie Odom Jrs character chose the wife over his daughter, not that Catherine got dragged to hell.

We all know Fast and furious is just pushing it now BUT Giselle being a like does kinda makes sense because in the same movie just a little after Owen Shaw fell from OUT of the plane which was higher than Giselle fell and survive. So in turn if Owen survived (albeit barely) than Giselle DEFINITELY should’ve have survived too. I realized this when they were rerunning the movies before I watched Fast X so going in, in my mind, I knew she was alive

And to give the half a** answer of oh, we never saw her got stabbed is really lame because we literally see the same thing in this exact same movie with another character who does end up being dead. We also see lots of people get stabbed a s*** ton of times that should be dead That aren't dead so To try and play that off. As a reason why you were tipped off that she was a killer is just you having hindsight and trying to lie to yourself about it.
