Anji , when ever you plan to visit India follow your father he knows everything well , you can go to many hindu temples too but better not plan for puri Jagannath temple, there are some restrictions due to historical reasons,..love JAN family.

@Subrata Dey # yes you are right, Anji & his father both will be allowed very well but it feels them awkward when some of her family members may be excluded , being a wellwhisher of this very nice family I would certainly indicate them not to plan such thing ...

@@Hope-xb5jv # yes you are right ...God is everywhere ,we all believe that too & every temple is open for all , yet I have mentioned since their native is quite close to the state of Odisha, this is just for specific temple only of historical reasons ....

@@worldJSR I was fortunate enough to have been there at Jagannath Temple with my grandparents way back in february 2000 at the age of 5 years. I still have glimpse of memory but one thing i saw that the priest at the front of the temple was pounding the head of pilgrims with a stick. But when i got hit, & upon asking the reason for this action, he simply replied, it's a symbol of blessing. Then several years later i found that jagannath temple is very different & strictly prohibited for non Hindus but Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs are allowed to visit. As far as JAN family is concerned, all three children can be allowed but i have suspicious feeling for their mother. She can be permitted if she admits that she's a devoted hindu. We have to remember that even Indira gandhi was not permitted to enter the temple at the peak of her power because she had married a non hindu man
