Devil's Kettle "mystery" (it never really was) has been solved years ago. The water flow rate upstream matches the flow rate downstream, so the water isn't diverted anywhere else at all. The water just flows through cracks and slits in the rocks. The dye test doesn't work unless you have the right concentration and amount of dye. Attempts to do a proper test have been shut down by some agency (forgot the name)... because Devil's Kettle should stay a mystery that attracts tourists.

The experts think the underground system is shaped like the 'U' trap joint under sinks and toilets which keep gases from entering the house. That's why anything that you throw in can't really pop back out. If it floats it just stays on the top, and if it sinks, it won't rise up the other side. The experts measured (or calculated) the volume of water, so they know it does indeed return via an underwater outlet. That's the best hypothesis.

completely agree. One obvious thing is usually (probably deliberately) missed by these types of videos or articles. Something not currently having an explanation *does not* mean there isn’t one, and leaping to aliens and alternative dimensions or whatever other wild shit is baseless. It’s fine to have spots of ignorance, it’s not fine to jump to extraordinary conclusions and “questions” to explain that ignorance. That only really helps the spread of conspiracy culture and dis/misinformation, but unfortunately the financial and cultural incentives to keep doing that aren’t going away anytime soon. Too many impressionable people who want to believe there’s some secret truth in everything.

The earth is very big, the water can go down a crack for a thousand miles, the reporter is a moron. You are correct, put a small gps tracker in a ball and see where it goes. 2. WHy are all videos from far away? If it appears in the same area each night, go to that exact area and see what it is. 3. That is what the whole earth was like a billion years ago, it was sealed off so it stayed the same. I give up. Nothing impossible here

As someone trained in microbiology, those circles resemble an antibiotic ring on an agar plate very closely. 10:21 - The Sleeping City of Kalachi - From The Guardian (July 2015): Now the mystery has at last been solved and the cause does indeed lie in the uranium mines, said Kazakhstan’s deputy PM, Berdibek Saparbaev. After analysing the results of medical examinations of all the residents, researchers concluded that it was caused by heightened levels of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in the air. “The uranium mines were closed at some point, and at times a concentration of carbon monoxide occurs there,” Saparbaev said. “The oxygen in the air is reduced accordingly, which is the real reason for the sleeping sickness in these villages.”

Click bait video I'm afraid. Affixing mysterious meanings to things easily explained. Weird cave dwellers are all over the world, not just Romania. I'm afraid the video doesn't mention the journals that have explained these things. They just treat them as unsolved.
