I had a cat who, when she was in labor, wanted me in the room with her during her delivery of her kittens. When I tried to leave and go sit in the living room with my husband, she gingerly came out and meowed at me, "Mommy, I need you, please come help me.' So, I went back and sat on the floor as she delivered her precious litter of...one. Beautiful black Sammy cat and her little bit. She did good.

I had a cat going into labor once. She kept looking at me like I was suppose to kown what to do. The moment she looked down and saw the first babies head appear, she looked at me as if to say; don't worry dad I got this. She was a great mother.

When I was little, our cat got on my pillow and had her kittens. I woke my Mother up and said "this old cat exploded and there's babies everywhere". 🤗

They love each other so much that they need to be very close even when she is getting her babies. I love you both. Very sweet, but owner should have offered practical help to Mimi instead of simply filming the whole time. When the owner noticed a kitten coming out, he/she should have put the phone down and helped Mimi deliver her kitten safely, i.e, gently pull the kitten out... or at least called a vet to ask for professional advice, because Mimi was obviously struggling to push the kitten out. I think (and i could be wrong) that the kitty died of suffocation due to the delay in delivery. Anyway, i'm not directing any hate or blame towards the owner, just sharing my thoughts.

My office cat once started her labour and in order to help her, me and my friends asked the store manager to open the store and lend us a box along with permission for the cat to stay. We set her up in the box of cloth and left but she came running towards us every time as if asking us to stay while she is giving birth. We stayed and recorded it all. She had four kittens and my friend adopted two of them.

I remember when I was about 11 or 12 years old, my cat had kittens. She let us know by coming into the living room and meowing at me. I looked at her, asked her "is it time?" and grabbed the box that we had prepared weeks earlier for her to give birth in that she had no interest in before that night. For the first time she crawled right into it and laid down. 15ish minutes later she delivered her first kitten and sliced my hand open simultaneously. I still have the scar. Its was a truly precious experience watching her give birth to 4 beautiful baby kittens. The scar on my hand is a reminder of that and I absolutely cherish it to this day 25 years later. ❤️

This videos makes makes me sad, because We know now that MIMI gave birth to 3 babies who did not live. I do hope MIMI did not suffer, She sure realised that the babies were dead, and COCO so nice came to support. These cats make my heart melt. When my cat had her twins, one popped out, she cleaned it up and moved it. Then went back to the same spot. She pushed. There was no kitten and in an instant there was the second kitten. She had a very easy delivery and because she only had two, they were fairly large comparatively speaking. Sorry your girl had such a hard time. If she has more, get help. She may have the same problems again.

She was having a hard time getting the first baby out. I am so sorry to hear that. I am glad she is okay. Neffy was watching the entire time. His kitty eyes were glued on this. He is only 18 months old himself. It was not that long ago when his mommy had him! Thank you for sharing.

I had a super shy girl that ran when I'd get near her. One evening, when she was near the end of her pregnancy, she jumped onto the sofa and lay next to me, mewing. I knew what it meant. I gave her some love and then found a cardboard box, lined it with towels and placed it in a private location. The following morning there were two kittens in the box. A week or two later I watched her and her partner walking side by side through the house. Together, they explored the bathroom and then my closet. That evening, she moved her kittens into my closet. Mom and Dad decided together where to raise their kittens. It was beautiful and touching.

Literally crying watching this. This reminds me of simpler times when I had my beautiful Minnie giving labour to 6 beautiful kittens. All female ! I miss her and miss these times. She lived a good life.

I rescued two mama cats who were heavily pregnant this year. I didnt know them and yet a week after I got them home, when they went into labour, they wanted me to be by their side throughout the process. I have learnt so much about love ,compassion, acceptance by living with cats.

I love these two cats with all my heart! Coco looks like my boy who passed 13th July 2019. Down to the dark spot on his nose. He had longer legs of course. As for Mimi, the most beautiful cat on YT, I believe. The bond they share is so strong and loving. Us humans can only dream of being so bonded to another human.
