I watched this 100 times, I took my test last week cdl A no restrictions. I explained all road signs, all downshifting (reason/gears) saying the gears out loud really helped me. I passed, my tester said I did perfect. Thank you so much. Your vid helped me tremendously.

@@iwasbornspecial yea bro I got hired for a local route with PFG. it's a food distribution company so it's touch freight. 1300 minimum weekly pay Monday-Tuesday & Thursday-Friday. Thanks for asking

What kind of previous experience did you have? I test next week and don’t feel 100% prepared. pre trip inspection shouldn’t be an issue, backing is decent, mostly concerned about the drive. Any advice?

I’m going to be looking into going to a driving school in Houston. I believe I will be watching a lot of your stuff as I am pretty green. I drive non cdl Hotshot and hall a 44 foot trailer in the back. It gave me confidence to maybe stepping up to a semi. Luis Moreira good luck my friend, Watch out exiting the DPS at veterans Memorial. 80% people fail just coming out. Other than that, it’s the easiest Road test. You should be alright though on a Bobtail

Hey man just an update passed veterans memorial with flying colors thanks to you and your videos! Clutch neutral clutch 4 lol as corny as I thought it was it stuck in my head and prevailed without that and same with down shifting. Well I don't know I never use the clutch u less I stop or take off you know. But for the texas dps they want double clutch blah blah anyways sorry for the book I wrote hope people listen and pay attention to you and your videos thanks again

@@AW-mz1zm yes I did. But then i had to redo it even though at veterans memorial they said i just needed the bobtail. The head dps on west rd division 2 said I needed the trailer. Lol but if you go to Galveston rd you only need bobtail it's very strange right doesn't know what the left is doing make sure at whatever dps you go to its kosher. Like I did with Galveston

Cool content! I completed my bachelor's degree while living in my car, I spent the better part of 5 years traveling around Latin America, and I became fluent in Spanish at 25 years of age. I am currently enrolled in an alternative teaching program to teach Spanish, but as I will be waiting a year to get into the classroom, I've decided to get my CDL. A company will be paying for my training and I will be creating videos during the process and sharing as much as I can for everyone else out there interested in driving! lamar fwm Right, Remember that as soon as you let off the gas pedal the rpms will start to fall. You then have 2 seconds to get into gear or loose it.

I have a cdl with no restrictions but I can't get no experience in a manual truck because all companies have gone the automatic route. I want to go the oilfield. All they're trucks are manual.
