About the Piri Reis map, the most unexplainable thing is not just the fact that it shows Antarctica before it was discovered, but rather that it shows the coastline of Antarctica (exactly) as it appears under the ice, which is very different from how it looks covered with ice stretching for miles out to sea. According to geological studies, the coastline of Antarctica has been covered in ice since around 4000 BCE (the only reason we know what it looks like is through the use of ground penetrating radar). So whatever information the Piri Reis map was based on apparently originated at least six thousand years ago (unless they had a very early form of ground penetrating radar in the middle ages lol). This indicates that there was either some form of very early (and advanced) human civilization that existed at that time, and that traveled to Antarctica and accurately charted it, or there was some kind of extraterrestrial influence..

When you mentioned Dighton Rock, my ears perked up, as I recently saw it in an episode of "Mysteries at the Museum," on the Travel Channel. Exact details escape me, as usual, but I do remember that a learned gentleman spent a major portion of his life studying Dighton Rock and finally filmed it from various angles and varying light, using modern cameras. He discovered actual writing carved into the stone, which proved to be written by a Portuguese explorer Miguel Corte-Real, who came to grief there with his crew---before Columbus's voyage. Gee, ancient Phoenicians and now Portuguese!

Or maybe the dighton rock just carved by some kid and then just left, and theorist think its has some meaning... just saying

I love your work Matthew, but the Shroud of Turin section needs correcting. The Vatican acknowledges the fact that it is a fake made only a few hundred years ago, and only recognise it as a religious artefact due to a number of miracles associated with it. Three key points that mark it as a fake:- The type of weaving of the cloth was not even invented in the presumed time of Jesus. The image is of a European, not a Middle Eastern man. Anatomically, there is no way Jesus would have been nailed to the cross by his hands (Where the wounds appear on the cloth.) and instead through the wrist. The one unsolved mystery is how the image was made, as it is a negative, and the small amount of chemical analysis done on it hasn't shown up any chemical that could have produced the image.
