Tons of celebrities attend award shows but only a handful will actually get to make it on stage as Grammy performers! While this is an amazing honor, it comes with some incredibly strict rules these stars are expected to follow. Ariana Grande ended up cancelling her 2019 performance just a few days before the event because she just couldn’t make a collaboration work. When the award show asked women to step up, Dua Lipa just couldn’t resist letting everyone know what she thought of that. Billie Eilish is known for powering through crazy situations on stage and she’ll definitely need that skill this year. Alicia Keys is only the fifth woman to ever host the show; is that a coincidence or does the Recording Academy have something to do with it? Lady Gaga was called out for going too far over the top and Lorde didn’t get the chance to sing solo despite her impressive nomination. No swearing seems like a simple enough rule but having to sit through repeated performance reviews is something else entirely!
