Do użycia styroduru przekonało mnie to że muszę wyciąć otwory w wieży po klejeniu poszycia. Na szczęście wzmocnienie zadziałało tak jak bym miał mate do ciecia pod spodem. I operacja cięcia przebiegła sprawnie 😊

I tak dobrze zrobiłeś, że wykonałeś wzmocnienie z racji tego, że poszycie wieży pocięte i trzeba było by zrobić paski łączeniowe i szlifować wręgi wieży i poszycie mogło by się zapaść.

Fajny materiał, stosowałem go wcześniej jako baza z której wykonywałem podstawkę do modelu. A teraz wypełniłem szkielet.

When I ordered Styrofoam, there were 2 variants to choose from. Gray and cream color. Gray had a higher density.

@@SWAG_ier One Night Shifts channel he has mentioned that the foam he uses for doing structures for dioramas is denser than the insulation board which in the US is pretty much limited to 4 x 8 sheets unless the seller has damaged ones. Trying to move a 4 x 8 sheet on a windy day is not fun. Maybe not as important on a relatively small tank turret but doing the foam fill on a ships hull can be a PITA. usually because you have more space between formers it's easier to get hollow spots. Sand and fill. Sand and fill. Sand and fill. And then if you are going to paint the hull its sand and fill, fill and sand the paper covering. For older ship models that used riveted construction one technique l'd like to see done is the hull covering be the individual plates with the overlap between plates. Pre welding ships hulls were anything but smooth. One thing that doing overlapping hull plates would do is disguise the telltale seams between pieces of hull covering.
