This is a compilation of Morbid Musicians, I've been asked to do this for awhile and wanted to make it in a specific way so here you go. No sponsors, no outros, less filler. Also started off the list with episodes that had less views so you might have missed them. I have a full script made and ready to go so I'll be back soon, this is just to hold you over until then, see you soon!

I have to mention, in the Trent Reznor segment, the Happiness in Slavery video has a performance artist named Bob Flanagan who is known for sadomasochism. So the reason why so much of what is shown is so realistic is because… well, it probably was.

I've been to a lot of SRL shows though, (earplugs required, waivers signed) so I got the dangerous shows but separated from a band. SRL wasn't trying to put anyone in that much danger, they wanted to keep performing. Wish I could have seen Hanatarash! Einsterzende Neubauten is also a long time favorite.Thank you for covering some of my favorite bands! I was pregnant when I had my only chance to see G.G., so I passed, no thank you. I'm a 90s kid but I have a fascination with the 60s and couldn't believe it when I first heard about Mansons link to The Beach Boys. They say the freedom and innocence of the 60s era died when the murders were committed. Although I'm glad Manson rotted in prison til the end, I believe Tex Watson was the worst one and should be held way more accountable for his part. I highly recommend checking out Rob Zombies documentary on Manson called The final word. Now I'm gonna finish watching this fantastic video by Deburke.

Pat Hare should be there. He wrote a song about killing his girlfriend called “I’m Gonna Murder My Baby”, 8 years later - he murdered his girlfriend and a cop who came after him. While he was not the most succesful, he was a significant influence on rock music, as he was one of the first to record a very distorted guitar. He was great at playing, I honestly love and enjoy his music. He recorded Cotton Crop Blues and Hold Me In Your Arms with James Cotton. Seriously, ideal if you do part 2, as there is not many mentions of him on youtube like that. Another candidate I can think of was Hasil Adkins. Although he was not intentionally a bad person, he sure was a dangerous fella to be around, with none the less interesting life. He was very much an outsider musician, with little to no fame or money. His music is rough, crude , the recording is very raw and the lyrics as weird as it gets, however it is probably as close as you get to authenticity in rock and country music, true embodiment of outlaw country. He got his cut of fame after years in the 80s, when he was discovered by a psychobilly band The Cramps who covered his song.

You need to do an in depth look at the Black Metal genre. True, it turned out NOT to be what the bands tried to impress as 'real' but it was full of sorry, sad & tragic figures that are as interesting as any music biographies that came before. (I'm NOT trying to compare Black Metal to The Beatles...just the stories that came with the music).
@dougodyssey50

I see it the same way as you. I'm not a BM fan but the history is fascinating. The trick with BM was convincing everyone it was made exclusively by Satanists, when the term Black Metal was coined by Euronymous, as a tribute to the album by Venom, who very likely were actual Satanists. If you watch the interviews of Satyricon, Darkthrone and Immortal, they really couldn't care less about the devil. They all say they like the dark feeling that comes from the music.

I enjoyed this, but the entire reason I clicked on it was because the thumbnail features Satan Panonski, so it's disappointing he was just used for clickbait. I recommend people check him out. I was surprised that Johnny Paycheck and Jerry Lee Lewis didn't make the cut. They were scarier than G.G. All in, they just didn't shit all over themselves or go on talk shows. I've been into G.G. for nearly 3 decades and I've gotta love him he was pretty theatrical and really enjoyed being the guy your daughter isn't safe around and I think once he realizes he wasn't ever really going to actually make it as a bonafide rock 'n roll rockstar, he figured he would do the degenerate thing to the nth degree and at least leave a mark. I think the same could be said about Manson. There are definitely parallels. Totally different than someone like Death in Mayhem. I hate thinking he did Euronymous a favor with all the great shock value material he left for him to exploit. Even if Varg is universally hated by most people at this point for his politics or for killing Euronymous, at least he wasn't standing around wearing his own band t-shirt with his belly button exposed standing in his own record store and/or studio looking tough while never getting his hands dirty. He was like Black Metal Andy Warhol or something. You might have considered actually featuring Einsturzende Neubauten. They did play a concert inside Nuremberg, which is pretty verboten, amongst other things , the injuries incurred using chainsaws and jackhammers living in the tunnels and playing under the autobahn, not to mention Blixa wanting to have a dead horse brought in for concerts. They didn't have criminal records or hurt people but just their "equipment" alone (operated by drunken drug riddled homeless anarchists during the cold war) is what makes them terrifying and my favorite band. ; )

Actually Manson's musical talent was about on a par with his prison house spiders that he made out of his own hair. The music execs knew this, but then, they weren't stoned out of their minds on 50 different drugs like the Beach Boys. I still find Manson's interviews interesting, and he's still 90% right about 80% of his rants. Really though, he was just po-ed that he wasn't good enough to break into the industry. And Neil can bite me for comparing him to Bob Dylan. What a derp.

You made a video on evil musicians and if you were to make a video on artists that failed in the art world to end up becoming evil then its Adolf Hitler to talk about because he was a artist that was better known for his evil. Like you could say Charles Manson's story of a musician that became better known for his evil which is interesting because in that perspective Manson and Hitler are put in the same subject from what I heard from some people over the years.

Charles Manson had a voice lovely enough to sing Christmas songs! The crimes were directly related to the fact that The Beach Boys and their producer screwed Manson out of a contract and stole some of his music. If Melcher and Wilson hadn't been so greedy and dishonest, that fuse probably wouldn't have been lit and a lot of those innocent people might still be alive today. The son of Tate/Polanski would have no doubt gone into the entertainment industry. He probably would have been a very stunning and beautiful man. Polanski probably wouldn't have done the thing he did and Manson might very well be on the list of beloved old nostalgic performers, a crooner, that go on to intern in Vegas. All because someone made a bunch of promises and didn't want to acknowledge the writer or pay for music they outright stole. Just remember that whenever you hear The Beach Boys lol!

If you really stip and thinkk about it Euronymus was basically the black metal version of kurt cobain: a smarmy, pretentious, elitist musical snob who treated those around him like shit and was deified by some people for it.
