I was at SummerSlam 2016 in Brooklyn and the hate for the Seth Rollins-Finn Balor match all over the new Universal Championship was ridiculous. The crowd reaction ruined an outstanding match between two of the best in the world.

It’s almost like Finn dislocated his shoulder, popped it back into place himself & finished the match for no reason. Hats off to Balor for not letting the crowd & shoulder stop him.

I loved the 0-0 iron man match. Excellent. Both men were the absolute best of the best and couldn’t one up the other

I was at Extreme Rules 2018, I felt bad for Seth and Dolph. You could feel their annoyance. The fans who started the buzzer noise were the worst. They tried to get chants going in other matches too.

I do agree that the downsize to Austin's heel turn at WM X-7 that he was in Texas so he wouldn't get booed no matter what, and the aftermath of it really hurt WWE as they didn't have a babyface to represent the company with Rock leaving for Hollywood and it led to the Invasion angle being a disappointment as well.

The KO RR match had a moment earlier where RR was laid out and KO was climbing to the top of a forklift. The ref could have counted to 100 in the time.

the problem with an iron man match isn't keeping the audience's attention... it's timing the finish correctly. there is nothing less exciting than a match that you know exactly when it will end. though, to be fair, such a match is more about the journey than the destination.

I was At Judgement Day 2000 when biker Taker debuted during the iron man match between Rock and HHH. Some in the audience realized the clock had run out, but a lot didn’t because of the madness going on. I didn’t notice. A friend and I were hanging out behind the arena before the show and actually seen Taker with the motorcycle. Still was shocked when he rode to the ring on it later.

Glad to see Finn and Rollins here. I actually watched it with the sound low on first view and I enjoyed it more than the Cena/AJ match from that show that everyone was raving over.

Stone colds heel turn is so underrated I mean yea I didn't WANT him to go that route but when he did it was actually some of his best work. He was completely hilarious but I do agree it was so stupid to do it in Texas

The pay per view feed going out early has to suck. I remember the same thing happening in the mod 90s with UFC 4 and people were pissed off asking for their money back. I think they just got a free replay.

What some people don't seem to understand is that the Undertaker had already attacked and chokeslammed HHH before the timer went off anyway. Only the tombstone came after the clock hit 0. So technically, the DQ was still the right choice.

Stone Cold and Triple H...The Two Man Power Trip, when they had all of the titles! That was awesome until Triple H blew his quad. Sigh... It was awesome until the very end.

No, I preferred Lesnar vs Angle 60 minutes ironman match on SD '03. The worst 1 hour ironman match goes to HHH vs Benoit on Raw.

I loved the Brett/Shawn Ironman match and still watch it every few years . My only gripe was they shoulda had a pinfall or two . But on the other hand , it made you think WOW ! They are so evenly matched they may just fight till someone drops from exhaustion ! I thought it was pacved well . Slow a bit for some peoples taste . But damn ! THAT is how you work a headlock and it still be exciting ! For me anyways

Jon Stewart's reason for helping Seth Rollins win at SummerSlam makes no sense. If John Cena won he would have only tied Ric Flair's reign, not surpassed it.

I think Hart vs HBK at WM12 was great! But one thing that could've made it better is if they got 1 fall each. Bret puts in the sharp shooter, HBK taps early to preserve his strength. HBK hits a top rope elbow, gets the 3 count when Bret could have kicked out, doing the same. Then they burn the clock to the end. I think that would've raised the tension, but otherwise, it's a good match anyway.

1 thing everyone hates about a particular wrestling match? Hulk Hogan vs The Rock at WrestleMania, where I think most people hate the actual wrestling match (although the crowd and experience still made it epic).

Stone Cold Steve Austin's Heel Turn was so unaccepted by the fans that most thought that Vince McMahon had turned Babyface on The Rock and helped Stone Cold. At the very least Moxley, Kingston, Omega, Callis and Khan were able to storyline play off the non-explosion, saying leave it to Impact to have faulty equipment.

Also in regards to Roman vs KO... It was most jarring that leaked material has said over and over. Call the finish of a match like a shoot. (Unless it effects the Golden boy pet project) then well f that, save the product

I will NEVER forgive the audience during seth and zigglers iron man match. They where petty and almost ruined a amazing match and a moment in time where the ic title was being promoted on the main event.

Lmao that thumbnail is so accurate. I legit hate John Stewart because that great match is hated by the ending. Also the prop handcuffs were replaced by the real ones which unfortunately botched the count of the ref in that 2021 Royal Rumble last man standing match

The people that call the wm12 ironman match boring are the people that think PWG is the bestest Eva. My personal least favourite finish to an amazing match of recent times is the MJF punk dog collar match

I hate “You still got it” chants, mainly at wrestlers that either get injured and are out for a few months or wrestlers that leave promotions yet wrestle at others for some years before returning.

@@killar1one I’d say it’s a hit or miss chant Example: if people chanted that at Shawn Michaels in that terrible Saudi Tag Team match I’d see it more as sarcasm or an insult On the other hand in cases with Cena’s recent return matches he’s had are fair since he’s proven even being out of the ring for around a year and he’s still capable, outside that whole loudly calling spots detail Other cases like Jushin Thunder Liger proved it in his retirement tour including his one match with Breeze a few years ago in NXT as well as Punk in his return matches after being gone for 7 years But cases like my first example or say Flair in his recent “performance” are ones were it’s just a terrible chant

I remember number 6. I were so angry at the audience. Seth and Dolph are great wrestlers and they had a great match. But the audience thought the clock was more entertaining. The most disrespectful audience ever. If you dont like the match, go home🤬

Loved Jon Stewart costing Cena his 16th Title, Nobody wants Hulk Hogan the 2nd to beat a wrestler like Ric Flair's Record, that Honor has to go to well Now that Triple H isn't coming back fellow Evolution teammate Randy Orton which is a Wrestlers Wrestler Not some WWE Hyped Entertainer Yes Man. Randy has proven he should have that spot, Cena would be an insult to Real Wrestling fans. Plus Ric already publicly picked Orton as his Title Reigns Successor, just Happy an NWA Loving Wrestling purest is in charge Now and Not that Circus RingMaster Vince.

nope. a study was commissioned, and the same people who deduced that the apron is the hardest part of the ring also discovered that shenanigans always come in the plural. as an additional fact, a group of shenanigans is known as a debacle.

Simon how did they get you to make this horrible episode this is basically lets hate on old matches most of the ending of this matches where out of the hand of the wrestlers what most people hate in matches are the 30 kick out per match the 50 super kicks per match the 20 suicide dives per match or how about the fact that they can't simply tell a story in the ring is just move after move with no reason that's why the last great match i saw was almost 20 years ago
