Hi! I'm Aja Dang and this video is about the 10 things I no longer buy. Most of the items on this list I stopped buying because I'm trying to decrease my waste however, no longer buying these 10 items anymore is saving me a ton of money! ($100 a dog treats? No thanks).

Cause society is so hypocritical. People pretend to love plus sized, but judge people who gain weight. People also hate when they lose weight.

I think the upfront costs for some reusable products can be quite expensive, and I personally find that companies that offer waste free/minimal products are more expensive than bigger brands especially from a cost by use (detergent, floss, etc). I love living waste free but if you’re not DIYing a lot of the refillable products, which tbh I don’t feel are always as effective-believe me I’ve tried; I do think it can be quite pricy (at least initially!)

@@kaileyreinhart8761 if you ever get the chance to travel to Mexico / South America / Central America your mind will be blown the avocado can be huge.. I cut up a large turkish towel that we never used into about 40 cloth napkins, serged the edges, and my family of 4 uses them for every single meal. it’s saved soooooo much money esp since we’re all home all day every day! totally with you also about just taking my regular metal utensils instead of buying fancy wooden sets, and with the awesomeness of menstrual cups and not getting grossed out about one’s own bodily fluids. the freedom of not having to repurchase these things (and seeing all the waste that comes with it!) is such an awesome feeling. totally agree about the tastelessness and weird texture of 🥑 as well! 😝

My breakfast toast has been consisting of: Dave's killer bread, over easy egg, red pepper flakes, a little feta and tomatoes. If I have it I'll add avocados but won't go out of my way. I may have to start adding micro greens. I bought my fam some reusable papertowels from etsy as well as russbe storage bags. I highly recommend them. They are so easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and such great quality. I know it's not the most eco friendly but I tend to store the plastic utensils that carryout places give you (even when you specifically say you don't need it) and I use them in my lunch box for work. I use old relish/jelly jars that fit in a coozie to take my hot or iced coffee on the go. We love ditto in our home. I've bought several great jeans for under $20 and some still were new with tags.

I use Folger's instant coffee container (giant cap lock) for storing everything and anything. It's pretty for display, and you can paint the lid. Grape fruit skin, dry in the sun, then boil when needed for cleaning solution (or bath for nourishing skin) -- I prefer the smell and use over apple cider.

I love avocados and in Peru we also eat them on French style baguettes. It’s a traditional breakfast to eat on Sundays with family paired with black coffee. BUT they are super cheap over there.
