ABOUT THIS GAME
Be the architect of a SteamWorld mining town! Break ground and raise houses for your steambot citizens, keep them fed and provide some rootin'-tootin' entertainment.
There's an abandoned mine sitting under your town, and it’s rumored to be filled with ancient tech that holds the key to escaping the impending doom. Use the natural resources above ground and the abundant ores buried in the mine to expand your town. Stimulate new residential tiers to join the quest to dig deeper, unearth untold riches and ultimately help them to hightail it off the planet!
As the town expands in all directions, new kinds of steamfolk find their way to the settlement - and their needs are ever more complex to satisfy. To keep everyone content, you'll need to make sure everyone works their darn hardest.
Buy items to boost the efficiency of buildings. Keep goods flowing up and down the mine by speeding up the miners with encouraging jolts of electricity. Or just barter at the local train station and get what you need that way. It's all up to you!
As you go hunting deeper and deeper in the mine after riches, eventually something will start hunting you back. Defend your workers from creepy creatures and keep the walls from caving in as you explore the deeper levels of your mine.

The team behind all of the steamworld games should have a mt. Rushmore sized memorial built for being able to make a great game in almost every different genre known to man.

I was doing the Yep! achievement where I must launch the rocket without building any turrets, my Enforcers were easily overwhelmed by the bugs, some of which have the ability to spawn more bugs after death. My tip is always have a few thumpers near the hives to deal with the fragile smaller bugs since thumpers are technically not turrets and you can build them without blocking the achievement.

@aaakkk112 Even if you don't open the hives, the enemies will still spawn if you start digging the rocket parts. They will even dig through the earth to make their way towards your diggers. Trust me, I tried what you said, it didn't work.

Oh gosh u mean i could of build thumpers! I did that achievement WITHOUT thumpers (no robots were harmed in the making of this town)

I put flame turrets at the enemy emerge points because of this video. When they get started, it's like walking into a blender. Though I overlooked the part about the thumper slowing and damaging enemies. That'll come in handy in my next map. :D

While the maglev roads doesnt give the biggest boost in range, their increased speed does help alot when it comes to transport of goods and materials. Also, you should make a video showing what kinds of building actually need to be in range of the housing and what does not.

is that map reward on consoles yet? I don't see it when I go to map selection. Do I need to beat one of the maps first before it shows the rewards?

My guards have all died and no new ones are coming. Not even if I place more spaces for guards. What can I do ? They dont respawn like the other workers?

Ok i got it. There is a limit on workers in the mine by 50. Thats why. I got to many miners and the the guards could not respawn

Yep that 50 Limit caught me more then once
