Interesting discussion I read from a musician & critic... her best work (Folklore & Evermore) were written & made when she was with Joe. He was also a cowriter (under the alias "William Bowery") on some songs. Now, the latest album is just 'meh' or 'bleh'... 😐

Disclaimer, I'm not a Swiftie, but I did listen to her album, and the only songs about him are quite beautiful and certainly not disparaging of him personally. I really can't see how her songs about him could be used as ammunition or a rally to harass him. Is it a prediction r.e the swifties acting on their own opinions of him that you're predicting? just wondering where the harassment comes from?

i mean this in the best way, but joe would be an absolutely great choice to play a serial killer. his eyes have this intriguing but mysterious look to them and his demeanor is calm, but has the potential to be eery. is it just me who thinks this?

Guys he’s his own person and we don’t know what happened in this relationship. He made Taylor happy for years when she was at her worst and sometimes relationships just don’t work out. I’ll happily keep supporting him because he’s actually very talented and doesn’t deserve all this hate! It’s the least we can do when he did so much for her.

Joe seems so thoughtful and sentimental, yet practical and down-to-earth at the same time. Lovely getting a chance to learn a little bit about him. Also, I'm just so happy that he and Taylor seem happy. Us Swifties feel protective of our girl, watching her fall in love with someone who is clearly so perfect for her is just the best. This actor has such a mature and serene aura, way more mature than most men I've met who are around his age. He also comes across as very intelligent and rational, like the type who would maintain calm even during a crisis. Maybe that's why he seems so classy and "regal", idk. Like polished and in control, but pleasant.

I have a feeling the watch might have been a gift from Taylor because she would totally buy him a watch made in 1991 (his birth year) that she also referenced in the '...Ready for it?' music video given also the fact that she is very into all the numerology staff. Plus,he did not mention how or when he got the watch unlike the other objects. The more we get to "know" Joe the more it's clear Taylor and him are really meant. so happy for them! 💖
