As a "DIY KZfaqr" I'd argue that the importance of audio versus video is the exact opposite. If I spend a day on a build and lose that footage, I don't have any content. If I lose the audio, I can use voice over, ADR and music to create my content (something I do at times even when I have the audio).

Great shopping list here Justin! Got it, got it, got it, need it, lol. At some point people have to get out of their spare room/home office and do more complicated shoots, proper production and storytelling..want to do a video about that? It's more about art and craft than just gear and apps (which we still need to achieve our projects). Again, always great helpful content. I look forward to Sunday nights when my phone pings with another of your videos uploaded.

FYI! DONT USE Epedemic sound if you ever plan on cancelling your subscription with them. Any music you use in your videos are only copyrighted free while you hold a subscription. Once you cancel your subscription with them the music is no longer copyright free and they can make a claim and take your earnings.. how do I know? i had 5 videos that I had to private because they made a claim and it couldn’t be monitized. Even though I was paying for a membership each month at the time of downloading and usage in my video. Unlike Artlist even after you quit you still have rights to us the music as long as you can prove when you download the music and it’s covered by a licence. So keep your licence details that they email to you every year for your subscription. Or just go royalty free! There are heaps of channels here in KZfaq with free copyright music.

Hey Justin, I can't find the video of yours that I watched where I was going to post this question. Anyway, all fairly recently purchased... GoPro 8, Canon M50, Rode Go wireless mic. All purchased for the purpose of wandering through random bush or hiking trail & camping/bushcrafting and recording my adventures for my new KZfaq channel. My question is: I have chosen (rightly or wrongly) to shoot everything in 1920 x 1080 but now that I have the M50, I've noticed that I can't set the same FPS on both cameras. For editing, I'm using VideoPad by NHC. Just wondering what settings I shoot be shooting with on each camera to still get good quality and also, so they will work together when editing. Loving your videos. It's awesome having an Aussie doing this stuff. I can't understand some of the overseas folk. Thanks in advance

Awesome tips cheers sound on my channel is something I want to improve. For what I do I’m torn between travelling light and compromising on quality or adding extra kit and taking an extra bag I have the rode mini mic which is good it’s made a difference but I do like the look of a wireless set up. A round great video thanks for putting this info out there. I love what I do but I know it can be better if I make the extra effort and learn to speak 📷❤️ regards Paul
