In my personal opinion, Christian is he biggest missed booking opportunity by wwe since the invasion. He could have been a amazing top guy. He had charisma, character, he could wrestle, he even had experience. Just a classic case of a wrestler who was wasted because Vince liked someone better that him. He should have stayed in T.N.A at least they knew what to do with him.

Dude's just a good guy all around. Many years ago, back when he and Lance Storm were a tag team, I went to a house show in my city armed with a couple signs. One of them was basically like, "I'm only here for Christian," which was more or less true. I made enough noise before the match to get him to notice. He saw my sign, pointed it out, then gave me a thumbs up. When my teenage self almost had a meltdown as a result, he started laughing and had to turn away. After the match, since I was sitting just a couple rows away, he walked over to say hi and autograph my sign. Never mind he was supposed to be in full-blown heel mode at the time. Made my day/week/month/year/whatever.

Yeah, #1 is a bogus pick. That’s going to happen at some point, but if you follow wrestling, you should know the Hall of Fame is a voting ballot with WWE workers. If WWE wants us to forget that, well... WWE wouldn’t of LET Christian induct Edge or the Dudley’s 2 separate years.

Does anyone besides me remember the small period in 2002 when Christian would throw temper tantrums in the ring? Including at WrestleMania after an IC title match with Diamond Dallas Page who was doing the whole motvational speaker thing at the time, and his catchphrase "That's Not A Bad Thing. It's A Good Thing" is what started that particular one after Christian had lost the match! I was sitting at home during that time just laughing every time he'd launch into one!

I always liked Christian, though it's true, any time you saw him you could just tell how much he was being held back. I had stopped watching wrestling at one point and the last I had heard was he finally got the title - which made me smile... And then, of course, they strip him of it in no time. Whether you remember the Edge/Christian legendary TLC tag-matches of old, or their solo careers, it's just a shame to see that only one of the duo got their dues. On the other hand, it's great to see that the two are still clearly great friends and doing podcasts together - they have a lot of fun stories to tell.
