Let me take you back to the magical year of 1998… I was a senior in high school, 18 years old. Unfortunately, I got caught with my friends’s mother (she was 36). There was some drama at my high school and within our group of friends. Let’s flash forward a year, time has healed most of these wounds, and the group of friends go to the movies and see American Pie. We are crying we’re laughing so hard… until the Finch and Stiffler’s mom scene. It got very quiet and they all turned almost in unison and looked at me.

Born in 81, class of 99... my friends and I loved American Pie. It's so weird that it's been 25 years and like the movie, I still remember so many things clearly. One thing that isn't talked about, is how much 99's music you hear in the Soundtrack. Blink 182, Harvey Danger... the music is such a testament to the times also. America Pie wasn't just a movie. It was a testament to the culture at the time. It's crudeness, has always been crude and still is crude in nature. High School kids are loud, obnoxious, sexualized young adults, trying to figure things out and screwing it all up. My own adventures with friends were similar to American Pie. Sexcapades, trying to lose my virginity; with just as many mishaps. The social life of a Senior in High School. I think American Pie could be made today. Just give everyone cell phones to hold, throughout the movie and bam. 2024!

The say American Pie 5 will be about a vaction in Las Vegas with Jim and the crew getting into trouble. So imagine it will be something like the Hamgover but with the American Pie cast.

This was a great movie. I can’t think that all the actors were right. The best dad ever. Everybody was cast, right. Love this movie to the day I die. And forgot to say great sound track.

American Pie was brillaint. Made at a time when the western working class were thriving and that shows. Would love to see movies like this return. Our culture needs it.

The title is also a play on words. There is a metaphor in the US to describe something that is very “American” by stating that “_______ is as American as apple pie.” ***BONUS*** In the US the green plaid wallpaper design in Jim’s room is now officially named “American Pie.”

Man, this one brought back the memories. I saw this in theatres when I was 18. Bought the VHS when it came out and bought the CD (Movie Soundtrack) when it realeased. I still have the CD.

The late 90s to mid 2000s was such a magical and unique time to be a teen. The music and movie scene were on fire. I absolutely love the original 4 American Pie films, I have to watch them every year with my favorite drink at my side. It sucks that those movies and so many others will never get the love they deserve and a 4K upgrade because our feminist overlords refuse to allow our society to have a sense of humor...

When this movie first came out in 1999, Thomas Ian Nicholas who played Kevin was the only cast member who I knew. Because he was a child actor in films like “Rookie of the Year” and “A Kid in King Arthur’s Court”

The characters in this movie were what sold it for me when I first watched this in theaters. I knew some one from my High School that represented every character in that movie. And people truly need to take a chill pill. Movies , comedy, games, music, books whatever, are entertainment. And need to be treated as such. Since when did all of our entertainment turn into work?
