Looking forward to this one. The first was great and this looks to be even better (not the graphics obviously) and I get it for free. I think it looks amazing for being on standalone hardware, for me gameplay matters more than graphics. Though I agree it’s a shame there won’t be a PC version for those who want to push their gaming PCs to their limits with stunning visuals. Platform exclusive games are unfortunate but standalone is probably the future. Standalone hardware is today capable to run games as advanced as 2016 PCVR titles and will become better and better.

Leaving a Dread soul is good strategy if there’s leaderboards. Say you’re top of the ladder.. high asf. Could get to that point where you’re like.. revered and feared. No one can beat xxx level because old mates left a dread there.

Protip guys, if you bought a quest 3 and got Asgard's Wrath 2 for free, you also got the first game, you just need to connect to PCVR to play it. And have a laughable 140gb free lol. Starting it tomorrow!

Oh I did know because I've been following suit. Very excited about AW2, indeed feels like the Skyrim Q2 never got. And yes, it was very awful watching Lydia die, couldn't really get back to Skyrim, especially with the awful controls in psvr1...

While I love zenith, I completely agree about it being empty, there was nowhere near enough engaging content until you reach endgame, I really hope the redo all the earlier released zones

Yup and for me aw2 does not make me feel motion sick like some other games (I felt pretty sick playing resident evil 4 for exemple) but ag2 has some large areas and the movement does not feel too fast imo

I love your humour and enthusiasm! I’m excited for the quest 3 to come out. I sold my quest 2 because I was disappointed with most games being a bit too shallow for my taste. Hopefully with double the power it will bring some more compelling games and experiences. I’m looking forward to more quest 3 reveals, so I better can decide wether to buy a quest 3 or psvr2. Psvr2 seems almost to be totally forgotten (unsupported) by Sony…so I got some hesitation still, even though it potentially will have more immersive experiences (like some of its launch titles suggest: RE, GT, Horizon etc.) … … I guess I’ll have to wait patiently and see how both platforms evolve before I splash my money on one of them 🤷🏻♂️

NPC drawing distance is limited of course, but they're there as you get closer. The ride through an Egyptian city shows plenty of enemies fighting and assets.

If you have the space and power to run it on pc yes ! If you want to play it I suggest you play it first because the AW2 has upgraded certain feature and going to the first afterwards might feel frustrating (having too manyweapons s to choose from and the shield mechanic wich requires parrying in the 1st one, and the enemies pushing you away constantly if you get too close)

This guy has lost all objectivity. Bad AI, difficulty aimed at casuals, an ill conceived game mechanic, or some other factor, could make this a game to avoid. It's not like it has beautiful graphics to fall back on.

Disappointed with game, Where is the open world? The fishing, the VR crafting? It is always the same thing. Explore this, solve and fight, repeat. Green Hell is way more immersive, what about Into the Radius? 60 hours of this game? Dont think so, unless you are a streamer.

Could be bigger than the moon, if it's VR it's not gonna earn. Seems the message hasn't really reached the top, the gimmick of VR has flopped (if you compare to the hype). 1. not everyone can afford it - because it's not just the headset; pc, room, time 2. not everyone can use it - early on, lots of kits got dumped online for sale because of this reason, myself i bought 4 different units on the cheap because of this very reason. VR sickness. 3. the effects of long term use are starting to show up - this was the nonstarter that no company wanted to let on, yet everyone who has even the slightest inkling of how eyes work knows this can seriously mess you up if you use it how the devs think you should use it and how the CEOs want you to use it.
