To be honest Sasuke and Naruto are my top two favorite characters in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Then Boruto and Sarada were born. 😏

In fact the social skills and being cooperative part would have to be the reason sakura was put in the group, though she really had no desire to be a ninja at her young time, she proved that she was very smart and had decent social skills and symbolized as a teacher's pet unlike shikamaru who was probably smarter then sakura, but too lazy and rather be alone then with others. If anything they probably picked her to team up with naruto and sasuke in hopes of helping both being cooperative with others. The only problem with that though was she only liked sasuke and disliked naruto. So she really didn't play her one role of the group, and just kept being useless and a pain for viewers to have to watch

I dont think #10 is correct. In naruto shippuden during a flashback right before the team is officially announced the third explained that he put then together because naruto was the kyuubis jinchuriki and sasuke was a memebr of the uchiha clan who could possible control naruto if he lost control. And assigned them to kakashi to try and help him heal from the loss of his friends and sensei and teach sasuke how to use his sharingan when it awoke. But he chose to let iruka sensei assume it was due to the overall grades. Not just team 7 either but he used a similar method putting together a group of taijustu specialist (lee, neji, tenten) and special jutsu users (hinata, shino, kiba). The only team exception was the inoshikacho due to tradition where the next heads of the three clans were always together under a member of the sarutobi clan. If any of this is incorrect please let me know.

Actually about #7 Sasuke's sword (also a named Kusanagi no Tsurugi) is said to be able to cut through almost anything and a reappearing characteristic is that his sword is seemingly indestructible, as it has withstood prettymuch any assult it had to take.

sasuke did not team up with naruto because of the grades. the jonin and hokage put them together because of the kyuubi in naruto. sasuke was meant to tame the beast with his sharingan or actually to cooperate with naruto.

I wanted to like Sasuke. And in the beginning I understood his emotions over his family and his hatred for Itachi. But oh my god did he turn into a massive emo character who by the end, besides his abilities, didn't develop what so ever and was suddenly back on team 7. As though he didn't just try to kill sakura and kakashi. I just couldn't stand him. Genuinely the only Sasuke I have come to like is him in the Boruto movie. There he still is reserved and cool but has a warmth and care to him. Fucking finally.

For anyone curious, as someone who is ambidextrous, we actually DO have a dominance in spite our ambidexterity. There are things we do better with our left then our right sides and vice versa. It just depends on the action itself. That's probably why he raised his left hand. It seems that he prefers jutsus with his left hand rather then his right. In my case, while I can do things with both hands no problem, I prefer my right side, but also there are things I simply cannot do with my right side. It just depends on what it is.
